Also are we prepared to accept pick 28 for Ebert?
Pick 28 would be fair. We are talking about a fourth year player that is not in the best 22 at the business end of the season.
Are you kidding? Pick 28 :(:(?
What do you think his value is at then?
Lachy, that's hard to comment on. I certainlly don't rate it as low as 28 but not as high as 6. Ebert played 20ish games this year, so clearly he is rated by WCE. Somewhere around his original draft selection, mid-teens is where I would rate him.

Personally I rate Ebert because I rate attack on the footy and putting your head over the pill as the #1 requirement to be a footballer and he does it well (y)

Having said that I would be disappointed with pick 28, which in all likelihood is what we will end up with. But with picks 26 and 28 we went alright last year, so we may be able to find something.

Graham Cornes said Port Adelaide are working with GWS about the Chard Cornes and Dean Brogan trades and mentioned that they may be able to get Ebert through the PSD, so we might get a GWS PSD pick and in return get Ebert for nothing.

They would still have to pass through GC. What is to stop Gold Coast from taking Ebert? Port have no choice but to give West Coast what we want :) Silly post Brett.

We will get nothing now that Griffen of Fremantle has nominated Port as his preferred location.

It is amusing how many rumours have been on this thread that are self-perpetuating but never reach any level of actualisation.

Didn't that muppet request a trade to Fremantle just so he could be back in WA? And now he wants to go back to SA???

I think he came to Fremantle seeking opportunity but now Zac Clarke has come on so he can't get a game. Now he wants to head off to Port who are need of a ruckman.

Griffen returned home because his old man was sick. His old man is better now.
