Perhaps this? Port - Griffen, Ebert for 28, 33 Westcoast - 16, 38 for Ebert and 23 Fremantle - 23, 28, 33 for Griffen and 16 or Port - Ebert, Griffen for 28, 33, 45 Westcoast - 15, 33 for Ebert, 16 Fremantle get - 23, 28, 45 for Griffen and 16 |

Any news on Koby? There was a 5.5hr drinks package last night... I guess with Ebert saying he's leaving and the rumours around Koby I'm probably just pulling something from nothing. I would have preferred Woosh to have sounded a bit more confident though. |

Won't hear anything about Koby till Monday I would assume. We're all still going on about what pick we may get, but does anyone think Ben Newton is a rough chance? He was pick 36 in a really strong draft and is/was rated alongside Fasolo and Ledger....Two players that look the goods. His last two years have been ruined by injury, many and varied. For all we know the club may have rated him very highly last year, but with two standouts sitting there at 26 and 29 were never really going to take him. In a supposed 'weak' draft, I think he'd be preferred over a late 20s or early 30s pick. By me anyway. Saw his two WA games last year (one I have on DVD) and he looked a very clean one touch player, great left foot, very good leap and overhead mark, both a mid and fwd and someone who just does something good more often than not when he has it. |

For Ebert, I'd like Pearce. Would do well when not the 1st or 2nd player to be tagged. Kerr, Priddis, Lecras, Shuey and Embley all ahead of him in that pecking order you'd think. At Port he's got Boak ahead of him in the order of getting tagged. |

I agree with that too, plus Pearce have to work harder to maintain his spot and would be possibly more motivated playing with a top four side. It would be interesting to see how he would go... |

I wouldn't be against Pearce but i doubt they'll part with him. He has massive amounts of talent and like mentioned by Drew would probably flourish in a side where the direct pressure is eased off him a bit. |

Was just thinking how powerful GWS and GC midfielders are going to be. All we have is Naitanui Shuey Scott Selwood and Gaff who will be A graders or very close to it. We definitely need more high end young midfield talent especially with Stevens and Ebert leaving.. |
