Indeed, we spent a first round pick on him, played him 70 times in 4 years and he fucks off back to Adelaide? We're not going to get decent compensation so lets just look at the upside I was pointing out.

Is there any chance of Ebert and Pick 23 being exchanged for Pearce and pick 33? Pearce would be the perfect fit with his speed and skills, something we lack...

He would have to want to leave, only way that would happen. Jon Griffen to leave Fremantle as well for Port might make trading with them even more interesting.

How about Ebert + Pick 23 for Pick 6? That way we potentially get another star.

Up to Port, I reckon that is the best we can get. Perhaps they could throw in a second rounder or even a third rounder with it. I think Ebert is worth a top 10 pick. He is a fresh player, excellent leadership skills, big body and only 21.

Lets just hope he doesn't opt to go through the PSD, that would be a disaster. I still think Pick 6 (somehow) is on the cards - just a matter of how negotiations take place and whether Port Adelaide are going to play hard-to-get.

He confirmed he won't go through PSD and wants Port to get him through trade.
