Not sure if there is a best 22, more of a best 26-30. Each grouping in my order of preference.

Defenders
1. E-Mac
2. Butler / Waters / Hurn / Schofield
6. Glass
7. Smith / Brown / McGinnity
10. Adam Selwood

Midfielders
1. Kerr
2. Scott Selwood
3. Priddis
4. Shuey
5. Rosa
6. Masten / Swift / Gaff / Sheppard / Stevens
11. Embley

Forwards
1. Kennedy / LeCras / Darling
4. Lynch
5. Weedon
6. Nicoski
7. Neates
8. Ebert

Then obviously Cox / Naitanui with Lycett to get some games if either are unfit or relief for an aging Cox.

not sure about on the hff, he does his best work in and under, maybe shift embers there now he's getting older and losing a bit of toe.

think i like this one better but i think bradd dalziell instead of weedon as sub
IMO Dalziell is a very underrated midfielder who can also kick a long goal i think play him in nab cup and see how he goes, if he does'nt perform then there are a lot more people ready to take his spot
!!!

It is amusing how many rumours have been on this thread that are self-perpetuating but never reach any level of actualisation.

I really am torn about Waters. I'm not judging any player on the Geelong game, because we were physically cooked before the ball was bounced, but this is the third or fourth year, we've been saying his disposal must improve.

People say Waters was very courageous taking his marks in the hole and this is tue, but Waters does not have a monopoly on courage. We've seen both Hurn and Smith do the same job this season.

I think you've identified our best back 6, but leaving Darling out of our best forwardline is a mistake IMO.

If Waters is to play forward, I think it has to be in Nicoski's role.
