Josh Kennedy's supremacy
Hopefully he can put on some bulk this off-season.

I'd be happy for him to play a full season in the WAFL. Needs to earn his spot. If he can consistently be in the best players, and take the game on with run and precise kicking, then he will be developing nicely. Play HBF, wing and HFF, learn them all.

No point giving him preference to anyone else. Smith, McGinnity, Stevens etc. are all fighting for spots too.

All I remember is the first derby this year where he took a mark on HB, no pressure, and shanked the kick straight to a Freo player who ran to 30 and kicked truly.

tbh if he improves his strength he can be a good player and was deserving off pick 7..its impossible to answer because for all we know he could turn into a wonderful player..he needs time

just have to remember we wont have as many players to pick from..we had a dream year and every time i look at our best 22 for the next year i think FUCK what aout that player..etc
wewill need depth and ima ctually very excited to see how certain players step up if needed

Thought he looked good in his first year, really classy. But the only way his selection makes sense is if he's capable of doing it in the middle.

Yea I also think the club sees him as Embley's replacement. They are waiting for Brad to get his body right/the position to become available.
This old article is an interesting read now: http://www.westcoasteagles.com.au/News/NewsArticle/tabid/7155/newsid/107665/default.aspx

Shep will be fine, geez it's only his second year and he doesn't have any glaring issues such as Tom Swift so I can't see him plateauing, his body isn't fully developed and he is playing position that we have an abundance of players for. Give him a break guys, he is not the next scapegoat I'm sure.

Surely he could push out Beau Waters in terms of disposal off the half back line. Then i reckon you could use Beau as a defensive forward (tough as nails, can take a grab) or maybe a tagger? he exhibits all the qualities

Maybe if he isn't played at half back he'll fit in better.
