Josh Kennedy's supremacy

Getting a tough wrap from you blokes. Shep has suffered a major case of 2nd year blues, will get back on track next year and will be a very good player. Lets not forget that hes only 20 years old and has loads of potential. |

On the face of it he is a disappointment asa pick 7. I have seen a few WAFL games and must say he looks to be getting stronger and working hard in a contest. Has a good kick but can lack poise. In his first season in particular he showed good attacking run, but team mates lacked the awareness to use him. If he and the team comes together he will be a a valuable player. |

He's a classy young player with pace but is very skinny. I think we need to use him as a floating mid, give hime time in the middle on the wing and at high half foward. Our midfield lacks class users of the ball and pace, he provides both. John has some big decisions next year in that he needs to give youngsters more game time so they can develop. Needs to give the kids 3 or 4 games in a row so they can develop. If that means resting a butler, waters, rosa, priddis, selwood and embleys so be it give them a game of after 5 games in a row and lets get games into our younger players. Our depth is pretty good just untested, so we need to start testing that depth so they improve. |

Yeah, simple case of poor preseason and second year blues. Kid has talent and good head on his shoulders, and has incredible speed. Has been overtaken by Ash Smith (who had a brilliant season), nothing to be ashamed of. I keep bringing this up, but we had a pretty good year with injury. I don't think we has Waters and Butler out together, Hurn played all/most of the games, so who's spot was he going to take? Hopefully he adds some verstility, plays som eHFF and wing, but it's early days and the guy has a lot of talent. |

In terms of our Best 22 for 2012 could he not be a straight swap for Adam Selwood with perhaps Smith also fighting for that same position? When the inevitable Butler/Waters injury occurs we play them both. Adam Selwood surely should get less games in coming years so the likes of Smith + Shepperd have time to develop. |

He will be better now his back isn't ****ed. Had a decent year in the WAFL. Underachieved in 2011 but for 50% of bigfooty that makes him a spud. Will be best 22 within the next 12-24 months. |
