"Freedom Or Nothing!"
Introduction

Cadishi have stood against the test of time over and over again, despite what the fates have brought over them. They have survived the downfall of their old homeland, civil wars, occupations, and even now, the destructive powers of the nuclear bomb. Seen as a rash group of people, the Cadishi are honor bound by their ancestral background. They are rash because it allows them to make decisions no body else could. Their practice in war is inbred. Their ability to travel by sea, a right to be. Finally, their strong unified bond can break even the deepest resentment for each other, made by their history. Although not much is known about the most ancient world of the Cadishi but here it will be known as Kavilak, as it is known on ancient writings brought by the first settlers of the Provinces. For we shall start there.

Kavilak

Based on what little evidence there is, historians believe the ancient Cadishi came from areas of either southwestern Ceolaan, or Northern Catai. Kavilak in the Cadishi tongue, in the most ancient of translations, means "Empire of Eras." As far as we know, there were two castes within this empire. The Kavils which inhabited the main imperial city at the time, and the Cadishi, who inhabited the twelve provinces around this city. But what we do know is that following a systemic destruction of the empire's ecological and agricultural system. This lead to revolt against the Kavilak Paragon,by the Cadishi, who after sacking the capital city, killing the Kavilak Paragon, would take control of the empire. However, even with the control over the empire, the destruction of the the land brought no fruit, and so would flee in the ship's of their naval prowess.

People and Religion.

Within the Kavilak homeland, and during the Shining Era, there was a system of ethnic divisions within the Cadishi. This is heavily related related to early Cadishi polytheism, the three individual ethnicities, related to each of the three "Mothers" of each of three ethnicities. While Ancestral aspects are the main faith of Cadishi today, it was mainly used to explain each individual ethnicity to each of mother gods. The three Mother gods included Cali, of Mother of the Calis, Metia, Mother of the Metiah and Ferusi of the Ferugin. Of the three Mother gods were one set of twins, Call and Metia who were both wives of Paras, or Father of All. In early Cadishi history, having two wives was normal because both twins were committed to Paras. However, Paras, as legend says, was in need of more children and took a third wife, to populate the lands, a legend thought to be fact, since the Ferugini are the majority of Cadishi population in the region.
