Do you think the Colts will show interest in him? What would it take to get him and where would he be plugged into the lineup?

Could he play guard. He would have a Stanford support system in place. but i read in pre draft notes about him, saying is he tough enough |

I believe the Colts will have serious interest. He'd also be a good insurance policy in case Castonzo is deemed too expensive to re-sign in 2015. |

3rd tackle certainly seems possible. No better team in the League for him than Indy if they want him. IMO. |

On ESPN Bill Polian said that if he were still with Tony Dungy they would have interests But what about crazy man Incognito ? He plays guard , is a decent player |

I hope not, based simply on a woman's intuition. Both he and Incognito (great name) come off as weirdos - one a loudmouth, the other creepy quiet, like a mime. |

O linemen are needed by almost everybody, these two will both land somewhere, eventually. I'd hope that the Hamilton/Luck Stanford connection might influence Martin. Wonder how he'd do at G. |

I think it would be hilarious if Martin signed somewhere and then like two weeks later Incognito signed there, too. |

According to the news this morning, there's text msgs that show Martin gave just as good as he got. If true, then it calls into question his entire story and motivation. Something isn't right here. I'd pass. |

I always thought he was a bit soft at Stanford in the run game, better at pass blocking. But I would assume that Luck and Pep would know the skinny on him, more than most. |

There were some references in the Incognito defense attorney presser that Martin has the lowest or near the lowest offensive lineman rating in the league at the time this all happened and was swapped from left to right tackle because he was playing so poorly. I don't know if this is true, but if it is, I would want the COLTS to pass. That does not mean I am taking sides on the "abuse" claim. I don't want another sub par offensive lineman. I read the same thing Martin may just not have the heart to be a NFL player I would hate to pay any kind of money on a player like that |

The initial media and public outburst against Incognito turns out not to be so fair. He is a meathead, but he was not bullying Martin. It was two friends giving each other **** Martin gave as good as he got. Until the lawyers got involved Martin was texting Incognito that he did nothing wrong. His parents and their lawyers get ahold of him and he lets Incognito stay under the bus. Weasel. Let him stay in Mommy and Daddy's house. I would prefer he never be a COLT. |

Incognito was a piece of shit before all of this happened. I think that's what's getting lost in the debate. There shouldn't be one though. You've got a random guy vs a piece of shit. You're really going to side with the guy who has been a repeat offender as an obnoxious jerk and a POS? That said, no, I don't want Martin. We've got bigger needs than a backup OT. |

No, this is not about whether Incognito was or is a POS. He was suspended because he (supposedly) bullied Martin. Not because he was a POS. There were implications of racial discrimination. Incognito was being portrayed as a racist bully. In this Country, the punishment is for actions, not personality. If Incognito did something wrong, by all means punish him. If he did something wrong, and is a repeat offender, add to the punishment. But don't punish him if he did nothing wrong just because he is an a-hole. I don't know about you guys, but I would hate to have some of the **** I have said to buddies in private made public, and have my job taken away because of that. Context is everything. |

Martin better not be picked up. We don't need to get weaker on the OL, and i think he was ranked as one of the league's worst. no thanks. big pass |

According to this there is no "supposedly" about it. Just because it happens "everywhere" doesn't justify it or mean it's tolerable. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2014/02/14/ted-wells-concludes-incognito-and-others-harassed-martin-and-others/ |

It was "supposedly" bullying at the time of the post, which was before the report was released. You misunderstood my post. It was not that bullying is tolerable. It was that what was said between buddies, which may seem to be bullying to someone else reading it later, is just two friends giving each other ****. The point was also that even if Incognito was a POS that if he did not bully Martin that he should not be punished. I have not read the report. I would be more interested in the evidence in the report than one person's conclusions about the evidence. If the evidence is that Martin was tormented by Incognito then have at him. |
