The colts hire Chudzinski to be special asst. to Pags.
He is an offense mind, a passing offense mind.
Kinda goes against the theme of power running

Pags and him go way back. They coached together

I like it. He did a good job with the Browns. As long as he and Pep don't bump heads, this could be a real nice hire.

It'll be interesting to see what exactly he ends up doing. Could be good for us, I think, if he meshes well with the current staff.

GREAT hire. He got the royal screwing of all time. Love the move. Could be to Andrew what Moore was to Peyton.

I sure hope he has some ideas for the running game, otherwise why did they draft Richardson and why did we trade for him? Sounds like this will be similar to the role Caldwell played under Dungy, maybe?

Seriously? The Browns were much improved. He made chicken salad out of chicken shit. The offensive and defense improved tremendously. He was screwed by the BRowns.

Chud is apparently a guy who REALLY loves the tight ends in his offense right? Thats a serious question and not an innuendo. I PROMISE.

It is true. This is also an insurance move in case Pep bolts for another job in the near future.

Pep was supposedly in the mix for the Vandy job.

Pep Hamilton is a young guy, unlike Tom Moore in the Peyton years. Pep probably wants his own team.

The better the COLTS do, the more offers he will have.

Nothing against him, or any of the COLTS' assistant coaches, but I hope they win the next 3 Superbowls and every last assistant coach leaves to be a Head Coach somewhere else.

I was wondering something similar. Chud didn't draft Trent, but how did he feel when Trent was traded. Did he want the trade or was he pissed about the trade? The right (or wrong) answer could make things a little awkward...
At least he can help give us some insight on those Browns FA's: Mack, Ward, etc...

Really? Then how did they go from 5-11 in 2012 to 4-12 last season? Their net points were worse, as well.

Meantime their offense jumped 7 spots to 18th, and their defense fell from #10 in 2012 to #24 last season.

The Browns weren't the '70's Steelers. I get that. Their defense ranked in the top 9 in both passing and rushing yards allowed. Their offense had explosion for the first time in a long time with Cameron and Gordy. Turnovers is what killed them along with a poor running game.

My point is, they showed signs last year in several areas that the team is improving. The owner is an idiot for canning his coach after one year. Now the guy just blew up his front office.

Chud wasn't the problem in Cleveland. Cleveland's mistake will be to the Colts' benefit. I believe the Colts landed a quality coach who will help the team.

And as we all know some guys make better assistants, coordinators, etc. than head coaches. Some just never get a good team to coach.

And if you get the opportunity to be a head coach you probably are a good assistant/coordinator.

I predict that he will be the O.C. in 2015, and that Pep will get a HC in the College game.
