Might be minor but I hope it helps. It's never really been about him being too shy to take hits though.

I really don't know what else Grigson is supposed to say, Richardson is a Colt and you don't throw him under the bus, That said, If you have a do-over, No way you make that trade.
If the reports are true that this is supposed to be a really deep draft with lot's of talent available, It is a draft I would love to have accumulated picks for instead of trading them away, Now in fairness to our G.M. he doesn't have a crystal ball and know who all is going to declare for the draft. I know many fans like the fact that Grigson is aggressive and not afraid to make trades, I am just a big believer that you build through the draft. I would much rather horde picks than trade them away, it gives you the ability to make moves on draft day, Especially if you want to move up to get someone in the mid rounds.
Anyway, I truly hope Trent Richardson has a monster year next year and I am dead wrong, The reality for me, I just have not seen anything that makes him look like a first round talent to me at this point.

At this point, I don't know that we can expect Richardson to have a monster year. I expect he'll start with a near equal dose of Ballard, assuming he's fully recovered. If Richardson is even in the 3.8 to 3.9 per rush range, that's a big improvement and reason for hope. Would be nice to see him catch about 40-50 passes as well.
