Any Pacers fans have any thoughts on the Granger trade? Picked up Evan Turner and a backup post player. Not only helps for this season, but as noted by some articles more positive about the trade than this one, it extends the asset, meaning they could still trade Turner or at least have him as a fall back as they negotiate with Stephenson. Something had to be done with Granger by the trade deadline or we'd lose him for nothing.

Turner is a better player than Granger right now. I love the deal. I also love that he is Stephenson insurance. If someone offers Stephenson a gigantic deal, we can let him walk and sign Turner and be just about the same. It's brilliant. And the guy that was the throw in (whose name escapes me) isn't a slouch. He could play some minutes down the stretch, if for nothing more than to give our bigs a rest before the playoffs.

No, he will probably be out there scoring 25 a game for the rest of the season.

Not looking so good right now. The production between him and Turner is a wash, but Granger was a better defender and leader. This team could really use some leadership right now.

I don't think the Granger deal is the reason they're struggling, but whatever it is, it's bad.

I don't think I've ever seen a bigger collapse from a professional team not due to injury.
