This article focuses on the question of trading up, but what about trading down if it's that deep of a draft? Would it be worth it to trade down in the second and possibly pickup a fourth, or additional third round pick?

Grigson says "don't rule out anything"... but I would think staying put or moving down would be more likely than moving up.

I think that we keep trading away future picks until one year we just don't have to show up at the draft at all...

Wouldn't be the first team to do it. Usually things don't workout so well though for the teams that have gone that route.

Personally, I like building through the draft. That was never one of the problems I had with Polian's approach. Didn't build us a great defense, but mostly because we focused on the offense so much. We need to hit some more homeruns with the mid-round picks. A TY on defense would be huge!
