According to this, the Colts have talked to Bradshaw. Would be an interesting move if they want him as their third back. My concern is do you want to go into the season with Richardson's obvious question marks, Ballard's recent injury and Bradshaw's lengthy injury history. He really shouldn't get much more at this point though than near the league minimum and a one year deal, I would hope. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1980741-latest-on-free-agents-vontae-davis-ahmad-bradshaw |

If Brown is left to walk, getting Bradshaw would be nice. He's a gamer, that's for sure. |

Love the guy when healthy. He's a warrior, for sure. |

If you can get him for cheap, you definitely take a flyer on him I think. |

He's nearing Bob Sanders' territory with the injuries is the problem. |

Agree he is a warrior. Problem being he is a running back with a lot of miles on him that now is injury prone. I wish him the best, but don't see how he would last the season. |

The thing is at 27 he doesn't really have a lot of miles on him. He doesn't even have the many career carries having always played in a two back system. He just can't stay healthy. |

If we were paying him a ton or needed to rely on him to contribute I'd be more worried about signing him. Worst case scenario, we're asking him to be our third back here. He knows the system, has huge upside, and is a veteran who can help the younger guys. This is a no lose signing in my mind. You ink him and a quicker, scat type back and you've got a decent stable of backs to bring to camp. |

I see us signing him to a cheap deal to compete in camp. |

If we're losing Brown, we can't lose Bradshaw. Bradshaw was a serious threat in our offense when healthy last year. Yes, the key there is 'when healthy', but we can always take a flier in the late rounds of the draft. Carey was a top RB coming into the combine, then his 40 time probably killed his stock. If he's left there in the 4th or 5th round, i'd nab him |

I've always liked Bradshaw. He gets hurt but he's a fighter, even when he's hurt. Vet min is all I'd want to pay for him, though. I'd maybe spend a little more, but I'd rather get Blount if that's the case. He's more durable, he's just as tough, and he too has tread on the tires. And in regards to drafting a RB, our first round pick has already been spent on a RB. Gotta try and use what few picks we have left on other positions, IMO. Check out the UDFA's if you want young RB depth. |

Bradshaw's injury was kind of freak. Nobody even realized he was hurt, but as soon as I saw him jam his head into the tackle and then crumble to the turf it was obvious he had a neck injury. He "should" (and I hate the word should) be able to recover. If he can give what he gave at the beginning of last year, keep him for sure. |

He shouldn't be a worse player because of the injury, but when you consistently find ways to come up injured you always have to question his ability to stay healthy. |

He's a RB that embraces contact. He doesn't look for the sidelines. He's fairly young though. |

According to some Giants fans that I know, Bradshaw's leg/feet/ankle problems are due to the fact that he walks/runs on the outside of his feet. So lower leg injuries are always going to be a concern. But you'll never hear a Giants fan that I know say anything bad about Bradshaw - they love him. |
