If we went into our first game with these starters and back ups which position would you worry most about?
For me it would be center, than safety, than DT, than RG

Crazy thing is, if we went into the first game with that lineup, I think we'd already be better. Partly because we'd have all of our injured offensive players back and because I think the free agent signings have made our defense better. Center, NT and safety are obviously the biggest weak spots/question marks.

I agree Bent
Getting Wayne, Allen, Thomas, plus Balkard and Bradshaw better offense
But still concerned about center and right guard
On defense safety and depth at NT and CB
But yea as long as Luck had time, we could compete with anyone right now

Is Bradshaw actually signed for 2014?

Is the DT Mathews gone?

Howell played fairly well when he played, but didn't he play in Landry's place?
Maybe Holmes will work out

I don't think DT is a big need. RJF and Arthur Jones can both play a lot of DT, and Chapman is a decent NT if he plays in spurts. You can sign a older space eating NT like Franklin last year to take some snaps.

Obviously if we were to acquire Wilfork, that is a difference maker. But other than him, I think you can cobble together a decent group.

To me our two biggest needs are DB and interior OL.

This sums it up for me. Everybody wants to ignore the fact that Thornton was a complete bust. He was as bad as our center but we want to play the hope game. He was a mistake. When Luck throws two INTs while backing up and our RBs are stoned again at the LOS we'll hear complaints about or passer and our RBs.

Another difference I see is a need for a speed rushing OLB. Mathis is 33 and Werner ain't ever gonna be a Mathis. But its not gonna be addressed this year.

Thornton needs to get his technique straightened out. You can't block people when your ass is pronated. He has to learn how to anchor at 12:00. It's when he rotates his hips/ass when the trouble occurs. It's "blocking 101."

We have got to get more pressure on the QB. I agree 100%. I also think that getting another OLB will not be addressed till 2015

Ok, I took kinesiology right after they invented it but I sold my book 30 minutes after my final....so, I can't look it up.

SO, I would appreciate it if you would let me know exactly how one would go about initiating the first move in ass pronation. Seriously, I don't wanna be the last on my block to know this. Back in the 70s it was a hands and feet kinda deal. Its just like this new generation to being getting their ass into it.

I took a brief break. I got in the middle of my den and made several attempts to pronate my ass and my wife is put'n on some Perry Como has lightin' candles.

Regarding pass rushers, keep in mind that Kruger didn't do squat in Baltimore until his third year, didn't become a star until his fourth, and we just saw Jerry Hughes take four years to become much of anything.

We've improved everywhere except the secondary and even there we at least retained Davis.
