Fellas, if we are able to get a solid Center and a solid player in the safety, what excuse do we have for not competing for a superbowl next year? Look at our offense. We have tons of great pass catchers now. Reggie, TY, Nicks, Allen, Fleener, Rogers, Brazil and Whalen. We have 3 potentially solid RB's. We have a killer at quarterback. What do you guys think? Center and safety and I think we're as good a team as anyone else.

Gettingthe interior of the o-line fixed has to be a priority. Makes some improvements there, key players stay healthy and Colts have a good shot for sure. After Pats signed Revis, some pundits were making it a no-brainer Broncos vs. Pats AFC Championship game. I think the Colts have a good shot at crashing that party if they can improve the o-line interior.

Yeah I think the Pats aren't better at all. They only slightly improved at CB. They still lose Spikes, Edelman and possibly Blount. Without Blount, we could have beaten the Pats in that game.

I am not so sure about Blount being the reason the Colts lost. Didn't Luck have 4 INTs? The Colts run D was suspect all year and any half decent running back would have given the Pats similar results. That being said, I think the Colts look pretty good so far. They still need to build an offensive line that can produce. IMO, that was one of the teams biggest problems. The running game was not very good and it put a lot of pressure on Luck (which is why he threw 4 INTs in the playoff game).

All good points. My biggest concerns at the start of FA was CB,S,ILB,NT,WR,C,G. It has now been whittled down to C/G and CB/S. Even with the re-signing of Vontae, I have major concerns about his cohorts. The uncertainty of the interior O-Line is another worrisome unit.

With all that said, The Colts will/should be in the mix...plus more help is on the way. I thought that this was the most exciting FA period ever, with alot of talent switching teams. I really feel that a bunch of teams have set themselves up for better times.

The Pats offensive line also deserves major props for that game. Blount was running through holes

Another reason the COLTS need to devote major $$$ and draft picks to the o-line.

Look at the effect of the Pats O-Line in that game: The Pats run the ball at will. Run the clock. Limit Andrew's possessions. The COLTS offense gets the ball, behind and having to score. Luck has to take chances. Increased risk of interceptions.

Think of the benefits if the COLTS had any kind of an o-line: Protect our franchise quarterback; make him more effective with more time to throw; help the running backs- no more hit 2 yards behind the line of scrimmage; control the TOS; Make the other team have to take chances playing from behind.

This is a No-Brainer. Major problems needing a fix.

I really think the colts need to go get allen and have a constant qb pressure.

Thats how to beat manning and brady. Get waves of pressure on them.

Think the Colts are counting on Werner and Walden to get there. Pass rush wasn't as big of a problem last year as I feared it would be. When you go against Brady and Manning and have the pass rush, they just beat you up with short crossing routes and screens unless you have the DBs and LBs to shut those down.

INSIDE PRESSURE drives them and any Q.B. nuts. Besides, that was a close game before Havili muffed that short pass as the Colts were driving for the tying score. Changed the whole complexion of the game...

We weren't going to beat the Pats or even remain in the game with them with the way our run defense was playing. We have to fix that to be a Super Bowl contender. The O line is terrible but we've seen how Luck can make up for that. He can't make up for a bad defense though.

The Pats starting blowing us out after Havili muffed that opportunity. The defense actually played decent, up to that point. But That's not to say we would have won the game. Just being factual.

After watching the Colts in '95, anything can happen. And I believe we are a much stronger team than the '95 Colts. The favorites don't win every year, so I see no reason why the Colts can't make it to the Super Bowl. (barring major injuries of course)

Not as good defensively but FAR better offensively. Funny how much Colt fans love Harbaugh, but my god Andrew Luck is already ten times the QB captain comeback "for one season" ever was.

Gotta admit that the Broncos and Pats have made huge strides this offseason in FA. I still think we need at least 2 more key addittions to be placed in their category. Hopefully, in rounds 2 and 3. We ain't far behind right now, but we are somewhat lagging them in talent at 2 key positions. FS and C/G. Then we have to hope that Toler shows up.

On paper they have, but the game isn't played on paper. See the Eagles "dream team" from a couple years ago.
