Not news that the Patriots falsify injury reports, but now that two recent Patriots are stating as fact it's finally becoming news.

It will be interesting to see what comes of this. I'm of the opinion that the NFL covered up their previous cheating and gave them a slap on the wrist. I'll be curious to see how this dovetails with Goodell's 'integrity of the game'

There isn't anything we could find out the Pats are doing that would surprise me. I fully expect to find out they paid some players under the table, with the way they get guys for cheap sometimes.

Belichick is an alltime great coach, but a slimeball. Kraft turns his head as long as the team wins. And so it goes...

I guess pushing the rules and/or breaking them is just how some people are. Dont really have a ton of respect for the guy.

If it is proven that they did more cheating the only proper recourse is banning Billichek from all things NFL permanently, and force Kraft to sell the team. It is bad for the league and its integrity to allow known cheaters to still actively participate in the league.

This has zero chance of ever happening.

Unfortunately.

Kraft is seen as one of the good guy owners. He was one of the moderate voices who helped end the strike. That photo of Jeff Saturday having his arm around him at the negotiating meetings right after Kraft's wife passed away is on everyone's mind.

The NFL also is aware that many people see the Patriots as having cheated their way to a few titles. That perception is not good for the League either. It puts a cloud around it.

So the League lets the "Patriot Games" pretty much continue as long as they are under the radar or hard to prove. Spygate, on the other hand, demanded a response. This is no Spygate.

When you have ESPN being for the Patriots what Fox News is for conservatives and MSNBC is for liberals, there's little chance of them ever being punished or the league even recognizing that they've done anything wrong.
