Looked like the Pacers had given it away, but Miami is resting James and Bosh tonight with the no. 1 seed on the line. They're down by almost 40 late in the third. Looks like the Pacers will officially be the no. 1 seed in the East.

Yeah, one game they will do, but consistently every night is a different story. They really should have won game two but played in the fourth quarter like it was a done deal. They just don't have the discipline to play good ball all the time. I hope they win the series because LeBron is being a class A jerk. But Paul George will have to show up offensively to make that even a possibility.

Next year I'd like to see:
1. A point guard who is fast and can finish at the rim.
2. A center who doesn't get his shots blocked, out rebounded, and/or stripped by point guards and people 6 inches or more shorter than him.

I like Hibbert but he is the slowest guy ever.

I second the notion of a G who can drive. I dont think George Hill is bad and it sometimes makes me wonder if hes not supposed to attack the rim. Seems most of our offense is outside shooting unless its Hibbert or West.

Also, Miami is shooting the ball out of their minds. Their shooting percentage is ridiculous over 3 games and, while theyve had decent looks like any other team, the defense has been there a lot. Theres almost nothing to be done about a team collectively hitting everything they throw up.

Can the Pacers win game 6 in Miami and force a game 7 at home? Going to be really tough.

I truly would not be surprised to see this team force Game 7 at home and then lose it.

I wouldn't either. Would fit with the way this season has gone.

So sloooooooow on either side of the ball. Its amazing to me.

I hate that the Pacers have to respect Bosh shooting a 3. I feel like he is a trash center and it disgusts me. David West needs to abuse him.

Team cashed it in before tonight's game was even played. Glad it's over, glad they got spanked. They deserve to wear that stink all summer and into next season. Better grow up fast boys - Hibbert, George - because you've gone from being respected to laughed at. Stephenson is as good as gone and I'm glad.

What I'd like to see next season:
1. New Coach - Vogel simply does not utilize the bench at all. Guys don't get off the bench for weeks at a time and when called on, they are totally out of sync and contribute nothing. Compare production of bench players prior to joining Pacers, while with the Pacers and the next year on another team. He wears the starters out and does nothing to develope the bench. His offense is...terrible.
2. True Point Guard - Hill would be a good sixth man as a combo guard. He's not a point guard.
3. Paul George play with passion all the time. One great game a week isn't good enough...and please learn how to pass the ball. Lazy pass after lazy pass...this is a total team problem. So freaking careless with the ball...very frustrating to watch.
4. Roy Hibbert in another uniform unless a new coach could teach him to get the ball over the rim on his 2' shots and someone to teach him how to get position underneath. If he isn't productive in the first quarter, you might as well sit him for the last three because you will get nothing out of him. Too bad Bynum has such bad knees. I swear Hibbert spends more time picking himself off the floor than any three players combined.
5. Lance - selfish, selfish, selfish...grow the hell up. He's got more heart than anybody on the team...he just doesn't have a clue about what being a professional means and how to act like one. There is no leader on this team to keep him in line and the coach is obviously too weak to do it.

Hibbert, Stephenson and George all need to mature. Hibbert is weak emotionally, George needs to take on more responsibility and Stephenson, honestly, is a lost cause. I've heard the Artest comparisons, but he reminds me more of Ricky Davis.
