Toler being held out of workouts. Says he's a full go and they're just taking precautions.

What are they gonna do about this guy? Do they really have faith in him staying healthy?

The last DB we had who claimed to not have an off switch, and really didn't, could NEVER stay healthy. But when he was on the field for those rare occasions, he was an All-Pro. That's why we held on to him as long as we did. But that's not the case for Toler.

We just need him to be a starting caliber corner. That's what he's paid to be. But if they don't trust him to stay healthy, they gotta know that they need another corner who can start and stay healthy.

This could really affect what we do in the draft. With needs at Safety, interior OL and NT, there's only so much we can address. If our guys have lost faith in Toler, that's just one more need that must be addressed. And I don't know how Grigs is gonna feel going after guys who can play more than one role (S/CB and C/OG) or if it will even work out all that well. But that seems like it could be the position Grigs is in right now... Too many needs and not enough picks...

Or we'll just have to go back to addressing needs with UDFAs because FA busts like Toler have limited our options...

When guys are injury-prone, they tend to stay that way for duration. Like I've stated ad nauseum, he's a goner in 2015, along with Landry and Walden. Good riddance, all...

This kind of goes beyond injury prone. He's just perpetually injured.

Injury prone is more of a come back and get a different injury. He just has the same one and it has lingered forever.

He's had knee issues in the past and now has groin issues.

hopefully the dude can get healthy and stay healthy. but I do not see it
we have to get a top notch CB and another good one for depth
We can not count on Toler.
Which leaves us with Davis, Butler, and Gordy. Behind them two undrafted FA.

With regards to Toler being healthy and playing 16 games and playing well, see my post in the Donald Thomas thread. Blind hope. And I think Toler is way more of a risk because the guy is just never healthy. We've got nothing consistent on the other side of Davis right now. I'll be really surprised if we don't draft a corner at some point this draft.

we have got to get some secondary help in this draft
alot of good CB, or so they say
If Grigson thinks our centers and guards are good enough, i hope like hell he is correct
If we have a decent center and guard, giving more time for Luck and actually opening up holes on running plays on a regular bases, well it would be great
