I still see us waiting until next year to look at WR in the draft and seeing how Nicks plays out, but wouldn't be displeased with an early WR taken this year if he's too good to pass up. From the blog: Colts receivers dropped 8.2 percent of third-down targets from quarterback Andrew Luck last season. That was the highest in the NFL. http://espn.go.com/blog/indianapolis-colts/post/_/id/5380/colts-need-to-draft-receivers-for-2015 |

Yet again I regret not having our full slate of picks. This is a deep draft in WRs and DBs. We need a guard as well. Of those three, we probably can only use a premium pick on two and our immediate needs would dictate the latter positions. That means even if we take a WR he'd have to be a mid to late round project. |

with only 5 picks, have too many holes or depth concerns SAFETY, CB, ANOTHER OFFENSE LINEMAN, ANOTHER DEFENSE LINEMAN With Rogers, Brazil, and Whalen as back ups we are in good shape this year at WR But there are alot of very WR in draft |

Thing is that this is an awesome class for WR's. Not sure about next year's crop. I would have no gripe about drafting a WR with the first pick, even taking into consideration the obvious holes that abound. Besides, our WR corps will have a very empty look in 2015 in all probability, so... |

I also don't have a problem with WR early. Again, we still have to go best player available. You can never assume you'll find starters and fill holes long term in the draft by drafting for position. That said, sure would be nice to find a starting quality FS and G, obviously. |

I think that Safety is a given, while Guard will probably be addressed on day 3. |

If Gabe Jackson were to be there at 59 I think I'd leave a vapor trail to the podium. :) |
