Nobody is THAT crazy to make such a trade for a guy who's love of the game has been questioned. ...Are they?

Sounds like a trade they really don't want to make. But as a G.M. you put things out there and look for some stupid team to bowl you over, otherwise you draft your guy.

Clowney will not be as good as Mack. Call it a hunch, call it what you want. This number of picks for Clowney is insane

Different animals. Clowney needs to thrive in a 4-3, while Mack needs to thrive in a 3-4. Both have the chops, but they both must dedicate themselves to being great.

You'd have to be sure he's the next LT to be willing to give up that much.

His talent is evident, but his senior season would scare me off.

Well I'm hoping some team IS that stupid, because I damn sure don't want to see Clowney and Watt on the same line. ESPECIALLY with our o-line.

Let them chase us with 2 players all they want. We just draft a very simple gameplan to adjust, similar to how SD played us this last season

Our OT's are more than capable. It's what's in between them that's worrisome. This is all on Grigson to figure out before the season commences.

When was the last time the Colts had a gameplan to beat anybody?

That's easy. Give up first half lead, come back in second half!

Here is hoping Clowney is a bust - for our sake.

Bent, bust or not...they currently have no QB, they lost Tate and no one knows about Foster's abilities anymore. We may have some tough matchups, but I fail to see how Houston keeps up with Indy's offense. We get Reggie back this year as well as Allen. That helps the passing game huge. TY is proving to be an amazing talent and Rogers and Whalen have proven they can step up. Throw in Nicks to replace DHB and I think our offense can be as good as any team in the AFC.

Perhaps, but I'm looking at it long term. I think Clowney will be good, but mega star, HOF talent, no.
