Opted out of his contract today. Hope he goes west. I'd take an Eastern Conference title for the Pacers by default (Lebron in the West). Still wouldn't be easy.

I work with a few Miami fans (crazy how they just came out of the woodwork when Lebron signed) and hes got this delusion that he opted out to go back to Miami for less money. And that Lebron is hoping him doing this will make Dwade and Bosh do the same so they can bring in another star.

Its all stupid.

That's what I think, too. Why leave? He can't get more money. He can't go to a better team. What is the point of opting out if not to take a major cut and bring in Melo

Well for the long term, I think he would fare better in a place like Houston or LA. The core is younger.

However, pairing him with Melo in Miami with the other two (if they return) would understandably be tempting. But I dont think i could watch any more basketball at that point. I dont need any more reason to hate watching Miami romp all over everyone.

Miami needs talented big men, defenders and a better point guard, not another scoring option.

Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh and Udonis Haslem are joining teammate LeBron James in opting out of their contracts with the Miami Heat, creating an NBA-record $55 million in salary cap room.

Everyone opted out to wait and see what Lebron does. Wade will go back to Miami, at what price, that's the question. The guy is well past his prime. Bosh is a Gasol, has value, but not much by himself (see Toronto Raptors). Haslem is just another dude on any other team.
Cavs made a trade to clear some salary. Wouldn't be surprised to see Lebron back in Cleveland.

Well it's official, LeBron back to Cleveland. Chris Bosh is going to sign in Houston after the Rockets trade Jeremy Lin to the Lakers. Also, Cavs looking at trading Anthony Davis to Minnesota for Kevin Love.

Yeah, Wiggins. Whoops.

And Love wants out of Minny, so that's why they do the deal.

The Minnesota Timberwolves have reached an agreement in principle to trade Kevin Love to the Cleveland Cavaliers for No. 1 overall pick Andrew Wiggins, 2013 No. 1 overall pick Anthony Bennett and a protected 2015 first-round draft pick, Yahoo! Sports is reporting.
