Horrible injury and i feel so bad for him. Hoping he comes back full strength. Dont see any reason why he wouldnt though. Pacers really need him this year. |

He won't be back this year. That's the type of injury where you're lucky to keep your leg and are out at least a year. I hope he comes back full strength, too, when he eventually does come back. Pacers have such awful luck. One of the worst collapses in sports history, followed by one of the most disastrous off seasons in sports history. No George and no Stephenson next season could get real ugly. Maybe on the bright side we see better play out of Hibbert and others. Also, this is a reminder to always keep the damn floor dry, especially in meaningless scrimmages. |

It didn't have anything to do with the floor. His foot came down just on the goal post and put too much pressure on his leg and it snapped. Honestly, though it looked horrific, (and I'm certainly no doctor) I don't think this injury is too bad. It's just two broken bones and some muscle. All that stuff should grow back with no problem. The real bad injuries are the ones that involve knees and ankles and ligaments and what not. Link to the injury if anyone wants to see it: https://v.cdn.vine.co/r/videos/8C8BE0EAD91107181551445221376_22cd0d58a0e.1.2.3707093020531365894.mp4?versionId=aMZDmkwS7_NrUkQXnf2FusqQWDSWeFL0 Edited by IndyColt45, Aug 2 2014, 01:56 PM.

Read that he slipped, that's why I said that. |

Ah. If you watch it in real time as it happened it probably did look like he slipped, but it really was just because of the angle he hit the goal post and his leg couldn't take the weight like that and it snapped. Nasty, but I've seen worse. |
