I thought Richardson ran hard when he got the chance. Also, Bradshaw impressed me.
We didn't run much, but both looked good running on their pass receptions. Bradshaw and Shipley looked bad on Andrew's first sack (think it was the first), but other than that, he looked good.

I really like our corners, Davis, Toler and Butler. Just wish the safeties were as good and we'd have a complete team. I also noticed the Hilton facemask but no one mentioned it during the game so I thought maybe it was just me.

Really considering some of the calls, and some of the mistakes we made, we looked pretty darn good. We lost by only a touchdown when we threw picks and failed to score from the inch yardline. With all those additions to the Broncos D, we moved the ball on them pretty well. Honestly I think if Reggie hadn't hurt his knee we might have won the game.

I just hope we stay healthy all year. Just give me that, thats all I'm asking for. If we can go into the postseason with Reggie, Allen and Bradshaw, along with this new defensive line and Robert Mathis, I really like our chances.

Yup. Agree with pretty much everyone on the way everything played out. I think the defense played great, and probably would have done better if not for the short drives by our offense in the 1st half. Think the O-line adjusted well. Luck was able to get the ball off for the most part, but our receivers struggled at times. It might not have been all on them, though. As was mentioned, the grass seemed to mess a couple guys up. Hilton and Reggie specifically. And I think the thin air messed up Fleener's (and Luck's) timing. Especially considering he's our "jump ball" guy, and they do hang more in Denver...

It was a good game. Our boys fought hard. Just hope they're all healthy.

What I learned from this weekend is that 1) the Colts still revolve around Andrew Luck, and 2) there are no world beaters in the AFC, and 3) injuries are huge in the NFL.

There's a long grind ahead, right into 2015.

Positives: Team simply COMPETED 'til the final gun. Reggie, Bradshaw played inspired ball.

Negatives: Some playcalling, not going for it on that first drive, Fleener, Landry, no pass rush in the first half to speak of. Andrew has to stop eyeballing his primary receivers and get out of the pocket when trouble comes. He did a much better job of that in the second half. I for one, would like to see more rollouts employed...

I'm assuming Shipley blew the blitz pick up on that one, but I suppose it could've been Bradshaw. Seemed like they had the right protection for the blitz, but Bradshaw and Shipley got confused.

The 2 blitzers came in succession, thru the same hole. The toughest kind to iron out.

I would put the blame mostly on being the first game, and Shipley being a late pick-up.
