This is what happens when you have a below average defense. Let this ring loud and clear.

It's really going to suck losing on a last second field goal in this game. It easily could have been won.

Can't be up two touchdowns at home in the second half and lose. Can't have that or coaches get fired, and rightfully so.

Extremely disappointing loss and yes, I blame this a lot on the coaches. Richardson's fumble hurts, but we let this game spiral out of our grasp and that's on the coaches. Just awful!

Well if not for a ridiculous call we go up 10 points with less than 5 to play. Refs handed them this one.

The refs were bad. The coaching was worse. The pass rush was the worst. We got no pressure against a patchwork offensive line that gave up 5 sacks last week to the jags.

We can blame this on the officials
Bad call on the last drive on 2 nd down
Should of thrown more late in game
Damn the officials

We can complain about calls, but this team blew it. Our defense stinks - good against the run, which is nice for a change, but in today's NFL it's about stopping the pass and we can't. We're in Year 3 now of Pagano and Grigson. Boys - this doesn't cut it.

Too bad too because some of the whipping boys had some good showings tonight. Toler, Richardson and Walden all had really good games, but just enough mistakes to keep fans grumbling.

Tonight proves we can play smash mouth like they want and run but it doesn't mean shit if you turn the ball over and can't play defense.

Adams and Landry are terrible! I wouldn't mind seeing rookie free agents brought in off the street playing at this point. For vets they look slow, lost and near worthless.

Running the ball on 1st and 2nd down at the end of the game was indefensible. We were playing not to lose.

Adams not good, disagree with Landry. BS back to back ref calls cost the game. D played well minus a few plays they looked like a junior high team.

We will make playoffs cause on Tenn ., Jacksonville , and the Texans QB
But we have to find a pass rush
And of course pass block better

Way too soon for that, but you're usually pessimistic. I will say this, if we miss the playoffs, I expect Pagano to be fired. There is too much pressure on this team to achieve for that to be acceptable. Ask Jim Mora, or better yet, don't! I could live without hearing the "playoffs" sound bite again for the rest of my life.

What have you seen from Landry that gives you faith in him?

Maybe they just gave up and accepted that not one single play on our team (outside Davis and Toler) could keep up with them.

Our offensive line played really well in the first half. Don't know about the second half as I had to rely on the radio, and they're not going to provide you much analysis. Just Lamey sounding like doom is about to descend on every play, and surprised when it doesn't.

OL was the least of our concerns.

We gave up 450 yards and 30 points. I wouldn't go as far as to say our defense played well. They did some things well, we were strong against receivers on the outside and had some good negative plays, but it was all of the same things that kill us every week. Tight ends and running backs catching the ball, crossing routes and screens, and no pass rush.

AKA our MLBs and safeties suck. There are the guys responsible for covering the middle of the field and the backs and TEs. Butler also hasn't played well despite the occasional big play. This we've known for a while. Jackson helped our run D, but it was already improved. Pass rush doesn't mean much if you're playing an offense like this where they spread you out and get the ball off in 1-2 seconds and have backs who can rip you for 30-50 yards on a single play. Our MLBs and safeties have to do better. And missing Freeman isn't the problem. Last year he was the poster boy for getting burned inside.

Yep, Eagles decided to go after Luck, and with the Colts weak OL, it worked. If I were playing the Colts, that's what I'd do.

That's why there were very few long throws, most of it was short stuff. Nicks disappeared..

The last Colts offensive play of the game was really an example of the other plays - the pocket collapsing resulting in Luck hurrying to get rid of a short throw.

Team got rush yards because the Eagles got fooled with the off balance line for awhile.

Colts better hope that injuries decimate the rest of the league, because this team has no pass protection, absolutely no pass rush, their LB's can't cover, and their safeties are slow and can't cover. I can only hope that somehow the OL jells, because the rest of the problems seem barely fixable. How in the world Grigson and Pagano went into this year not seeing this stuff, I don't know.

There are reasons that this team has not yet won this year, it's not a fluke. And Pagano is a D guy? And Grigson can't sleep until he fixes the OL?

Horrendous non-call, plus puzzling coaching lost the game. I thought that the Colts actually outplayed them for much of the game, but GLARING adjustments were never made on both sides of the ball. The 3-4 dfense is predicated on outstanding LB play, and until we actually FIND SOME, it's gonna be an exercise in futility. I would have taken McNary out, moved Landry to the box...and brought in another D.B. I would have also TRIED some inside blitzes, like they killed us with.

On offense, somehow some way...Pep needs to get Andruw moving outside the pocket alot more than is happeneing. He's a sitting duck and is way too athletic to be "standing tall in the pocket" on every play. Tom Brady has plays run outside the pocket.Once the Eagles got wise to the unbalanced line, Pep needs to make further adjustments, and didn't. Not sure how much slack this staff really has left. I thought that Pags had the team READY to play, but his assistants did him in last night. Could be time to get Chud warmed up in the bullpen...
