Watching Peyton play the Seattle defense brings back bad memories of our games against San Diego, New England and Pittsburgh. Sometimes when a defense gets in his head, he makes things easier for them. Overthrows wide open guys, audibles to draws and screens that have no chance.

He's awful in big games. I'm not really sure why this is surprising to anyone at this point.

Right now, Russell Wilson and the offense are trying to give the game to Denver.
And Peyton gets intercepted late with a wounded duck over the middle. He's looked terrible in this game.

And then, again in classic Peyton, he ties the game with a killer throw.

Seahawks win it anyway. Denver's defense had a great game until OT. When your defense plays that well, you should win the game. Where have I heard that before as it relates to a Peyton Manning-led team? Wasn't always true in the Indy days, but it was today.

Has anyone else had as many OT games where he never saw the ball like Manning?

Playoff game against Miami never got the ball. Playoff game against the Chargers never got the ball. Panthers game never got the ball. That Miami regular season game early in his career never got the ball. He really wasn't particularly sharp in this game, but was vastly improved in the 2nd half.

In his defense, a lot of the bad games you're talking about against Pittsburgh, New England and San Diego, and again today, he had zero help from the running game. Its a lot easier to stop an offense when every single run gets stuffed in the backfield

Peyton hasn't had a real running game (except for 06) in like 10+ years.

Denver's defense is still shaky to me. Better, but still a bit shaky.
