http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000398892/article/chris-harris-russell-wilson-is-better-than-andrew-luck According to Chris Harris. Of course, Wilson has a defense that can stymie any offense in the league, plus get a few turnovers. As well as a consistent running game that takes a ton of pressure off of him, and a great offensive line. Oh yeah and this season he has a great return threat in Harvin. but don't let that stop you from claiming Wilson is better than Luck. |

I don't think it's absurd. Obviously I prefer Luck, but I'm biased. Wilson has a career 101 QB rating and a 3 to 1 TD to INT ratio. Granted, they don't ask him to do NEARLY as much as we ask Luck to do, but I think you could definitely make an argument that Wilson has been as good as Luck to this point in their careers. I think Luck has way more long term upside though. |

I really like Wilson, As I have said in the past I was in favor of trading the picks instead of taking Luck, Wilson was who I wanted the Colts to draft. Now with that all said. What they are asked to do with their respective teams is night and day different. Luck has to carry the Colts week in and week out and has had to do so from the get go, Wilson has never had to carry the team on his shoulders each and every game so far in his career. He has done a very nice job of stepping up when needed to do so. Anyway, How good would Luck be if he was the Seahawk Qb. Scary to think about. Would Wilson be nearly as effective at this point in time if he were leading the Colts, I really don't think so. He is a good, Smart player that knows his limitations, I don't know if he would even be playing if he had played behind the Colts O-line the last couple of years. Not built to take the pounding that Luck has taken. I must say though that Seattle had done an outstanding job of utilizing Wilson's particular skill set. |

I just dislike evaluating QBs as if everything else is equal when its not. I hear people refer to Troy Aikman as one of the best QBs of all time, when he had the #1 defense every year they won the Super Bowl, probably the best offensive line in the history of the game, the NFLs all time leading rusher, a hall of fame WR in Irvin, and a great TE in Novacek. Not saying Aikman was a bad QB, far from it, but to put him ahead of people like Manning and Unitas when every time he got hurt and they plugged in their backup QB, he did just as well, is just crazy. |

I like Wilson, but I actually thought he looked like crap in the second half. The Seahawk offense tried to give that game away, Wilson included. |

Wilson has benefited extremely well. Their rushing attack is what strikes fear into everyone and they have the top defense in the league. |

This. How many times has Wilson been bailed out by a Lynch run? |

Contemplate this: Cleveland trades Manzel for Wilson last July and three games into the season what do you think their stats look like and how are their teams doing. I could see Both teams doing about what they are doing now. Wilson would be the starter over Hoyer but the limitations around him means Wilson and Cleveland aren't a lot better. With the Seahawks D and their run games and OLine I believe Johnny Football becomes the man in Seattle. This is what I really believe would takes place. If its on target then the usual QB comparisons crap is.....crap. |

I think you think a lot more of Manziel than I do. I think Wilson is a very good QB, Yes he benefits from all the strength's mentioned in Seattle, However he also just has a solid grasp of the game, He is a good decision maker and he knows his limitations. I think Manziel is a project, Far from being ready to be a starting NFL QB on any team. Will he eventually pan out, We shall see, I have my doubts. |
