The Jacksonville game let us look a little at the future for the Colts. We definitely have some "keepers". We all know Reggie time is coming slowly to an end but he still is a valuable guy on the field and on the sideline. I just hope the Colts can keep him on the sideline after he retires.
Our "Keepers" after last Sunday for me are;
1. Andrew Luck
2. Allen
3. Hilton (If he stays healthy)
4. Davis
5. Chapman
6. Moncrief
7. Whalen
8. "Our Kicker"
9. Walden (getting better)
10. Vinateri ( he is getting stronger???)

I would like others view as I admit to bias.

Wish Ballard could be on that list, he looked like a keeper his rookie season.

Walden is looking better, but he'll have to get 10 sacks or more for most fans to notice and admit it.
Toler looked great, too, for a second week in a row.

Likewise, Werner looks much better than he did most of last season. He isn't living up to expectations, but there is improvement there.

I would add Mewhort and maybe Kerr.

The running backs looked good with the improved blocking.

In fact, the o-line seems to be improving as a group.

Are our kicker and Vinatieri two different people? Are we talking about our punter, the golfer?

Purifoy and Harrison, along with Doyle. Kelcy Quarles is a guy I always liked at South Carolina. Nasty dude.

When I said kicker I was referring to our golfer who swims in the Broad Ripple Canal. He and Reggie bring lots of "heart" to the Colts.

If Werner is similar to Kruger, as some suggested, he won't come on until year four. Hope he gets a lot more sacks than Kruger though. Kruger, for as much as he's talked about, is now in year seven and has yet to record 10 sacks in a season. Just 22 for his career.
