Ty with another 100 yard game. He's turned the corner. He's a top 15 receiver if he stays healthy. He's clearly the best receiver on our team now. I'll never argue whether he's a true #1 or not again. He can just flat out play.

Lost among the chaos is our rookie Moncrief is going to be a star. Props to him for pulling down a couple of tough ones and man is this dude fast.

Also, TY IS still a number one receiver.

Peyton was incapable of scrambling for the most part.

In the same situation Luck would never slide, that would be a touchdown. Not at all saying that alone makes him better, just pointing out the very obvious difference.

Nice game by the 'Crief and he looks like a player.

It looked to me like Nicks was open a few times and Luck overthrew him, so I don't want to sound as if i'm giving up on Hakeem, but Moncrief may save the Colts some $$ by being able to step up and allow Nicks to depart at season's end.

i hope that Wayne is re-signed, Colts still need him in so many ways.

Off point, but did anyone else notice the COLTS' tight ends were targeted only twice the whole game.

You can't really complain when your offense scores 34 points and your QB throws for 400 yards.

I just find that odd. I guess the WRs- including Moncrief- were getting open consistently.

Edit: They were targeted 6x, but only caught 2.

We should of used dump off to TE and RB more today. Luck took a beating.

TE's were trying to aid the O-Line, and then were phased out of the gameplan when the score became lopsided. Luck/Nicks don't have much chemistry. Whalen, does. Not sure if Moncrief will turn out in becoming a "star" but it looks like he's on the right track.

Manning slid on purpose. We had a small lead and sliding allowed us to take knees and run the clock out. We didn't need the TD.

Before yesterday while I liked what I saw from Moncrief, I was ok with him receiving limited playing time at this point. I trusted the coaches, and figured while he has looked good when he has been out there he might still not be ready for major minutes. After yesterday though, I am convinced he need to be playing over Nicks.

I've been noticing how little we target our TEs all year. When you consider how often Allen stays in to block, and does a good job at it, and how few targets he gets in the passing game, his numbers are amazing. Every time we look his way he makes a play.

He's a great player. I would love to see a game where we really focus on him and see what that looks like.

I think the reason our TE's stay in is that we have a right Tackle that did not make a block all night that I could see.

He's been regressing badly from the outset.

TY has been playing out of his mind for the last month or so. I don't think he, or anyone, could keep up this pace, but he has gone full on beast. It's great to see.

Nick and Luck just are not on the same page and never have been. We're half way through the year at this point and Nicks is on a one year deal. Moncrief has outplayed him. He and Luck have had instant chemistry. Moncrief should be our #3 receiver.

We missed Reggie a little yesterday. He gives Luck a security blanket when things get heavy. A guy he can count on underneath. When Luck tried to go to Nicks yesterday in those situations, they just never seemed to connect.

I think that people are right on about our TEs having to help our oline in protection. I know people have lauded this years oline, and I think it's definitely better than they were the last couple years, but it's not there yet. I'm not sure Thornton is ever going to pan out and Cherilus is looking more and more like too much money for too little.

For such a big fella, Thornton is pretty soft. Cherilus looks much slower this year. I thought that Louis did a decent job filling in, as did Reitz. But I agree that Gos ain't being replaced just yet. Too much dinero invested...

Good explanation. I don't remember that run.
