Titans run defense is 24th in the league before this game. http://www.nfl.com/stats/categorystats?tabSeq=2&defensiveStatisticCategory=RUSHING&conference=ALL&role=OPP&season=2014&seasonType=REG&d-447263-s=RUSHING_YARDS_PER_GAME_AVG&d-447263-o=1&d-447263-n=1 Edited by NEcoltfan, Sep 28 2014, 03:49 PM.

Richardson seems to finally be making the most out of what he is given (which is all I ask out of a normal RB) a lot more this season, so I am happy with him. Still not worth what we gave up for him though.

My bad. That was in the AFC itself, not the entire NFL. Edited by isamuelson, Sep 28 2014, 03:51 PM.

Wouldn't surprise me if he is ranked top 3 in both receptions and yards all-time by the time he is done. |

Dlinemen consistently hitting your RBs (yes, i mean BOTH bradshaw and TR) is a direct result of the offense lines inability to move them off the ball. Rankings dont mean anything obviously if we cant move their guys. |

Buffalo not up to the task against Houston. Not impressed by Houston either. That game on the 9th is going to be big. Colts have to play a good Baltimore team next week while Houston goes to Dallas. |

Here's a surprising stat from Sorgi today during the broadcast: the Colts have NEVER won a game when Andrew HASN'T been sacked. He wasn't sacked today (he was hit), so this breaks a weird stat. Hard to believe that every game the Colts have lost, Andrew was never sacked. Strange, but true facts... |

Yeah, the Colts also have a very good record (forget the exact numbers) when Luck is sacked 4+ times. |

Pittsburgh really spit the bit on that game. They played a Tampa team that really was bad prior to this. The last time I looked in that game, the Steelers had almost 100 yards in penalties! In the game against the Ravens they were also heavily penalized. Tomlin is an idiot by allowing his players to give the other team what equates to probably one or two scores in penalty yardage. It is one thing to play tough football. It is another thing to play reckless and stupid football. |

The steelers are a shadow of what they used to be. The defense is no longer scary to anyone and Tomlins play it cool attitude has got to be wearing thin on the fans. He brings no discipline to the table whatsoever. |

Reggie walked off the field with a slight limp and his right knee wrapped. Haven't heard any talk about it, but something to keep an eye on this week for sure. |

Kind of like how the Seahawks last year were one of the most penalized teams and yet they went to the Super Bowl and won it. Just makes me shake my head sometimes in disbelief.

I don't think he's been moving well at all this season to be honest. His gait doesn't look completely right to me. Still producing though. |

He probably has at least two years left in him and I could see us bringing him back on another two year contract, unless we win it all this year and he decides to retire. Think he is 74 away from topping Marvin at the moment. |

If he does play another two years he is all but a lock to be in the top 3 for both unless his production just nose dives starting next week. He is 73 receptions away from tying Marvin for 3rd in receptions all-time, and 1419 away from tying Moss for third all time in yards. If he keeps his current pace for this season he will end the season 4 receptions behind Marvin and 498 yards behind Moss. He doesn't have a realistic chance of catching Gonzolaz for second in receptions, but if he passes Moss he is less than 500 yards from the number 2 spot all-time. |

Wayne proved yesterday that he doesn't even have to be fully healthy to make an impact. On his TD reception there wasn't even much separation, he has the smarts and the elite QB to make plays like that happen even at a reduced speed and when not at 100 percent. He and Luck both knew there exactly where the ball had to be and it worked perfectly. So well in fact, that it looked crazy easy. |

It would have been interesting to see what kind of stats both Marvin and Reggie would have put up if they didn't have another great WR taking touches away from them. |

Aside from the ill-advised INT, this was nearly a flawless team effort. |

But reverse of that is what kind of numbers would Steve Smith have if he had an elite QB (he's had very good, not great or elite QBs) and a fellow elite receiver taking away some coverage? I like to think Reggie and Marvin are just that much better, but I don't know for sure. |

I don't think I have ever seen a RB work so hard to gain one yard so consistently as Trich! He gets met in the backfield way too often but I think that his receiving skills will help open up his runs as the D usually thinks when he is in that the Colts will be running. There has been a lot more passes to the RBs this year than I can remember. Bradshaw has four TD receptions already (if I'm not mistaken). That covers up some of the OL issues. |

It was worse while Addai was here. He would routinely get hit as the ball was being handed off. |

Reggie does a lot of the little things so well it makes up for his speed. His timing is impeccable. He waits to get his hands up until the last possible moment, this prevents DBs from knowing when the ball is coming and batting it away. He does a great job of shielding off DBs with his body, so they have to play through him to stop the pass. This is in addition to running precise routes and being able to make every route look the same from the snap. He does nothing to give away that he's going to turn or curl or cut. |
