Over 40 touchdowns passes this season. 17 and he also has two on the ground. Just his third year. Not to turn this into a Luck vs Wilson or any other young QB debate, but he has twice as many TD passes as Wilson and twice as many pass attempts. Obviously Luck is a much bigger part of our team then Wilson is with Sea. |

Wilson has 100% more superbowl trophies than Luck though. I don't assume that anyone is debating that Luck is the better pure QB out of the 2. Luck is hands down the best QB to come in the league in a LONG time, but Wilson is a hell of a game manager. Both have great qualities as players, and i can only speak about Luck as an individual..he definitely has his head on straight. I know nothing about Wilson outside the game of football. The debate 10 years ago wasn't Luck and Wilson...it was Manning and Brady. In hindsight, now that Peyton is no longer with the organization, who's list of accomplishments would you rather in the Colts archives? Let's hope Luck not only outperforms Wilson, but wins more superbowls as well. These 2 are leading us into the new generation, so it will be fun to keep an eye on |

Correction Wilson has an infinite% more superbowl trophies. 100% of 0 is still 0. :p |

I don't think you define a QB's greatness by SB victories. You don't do it that way for any other position. I also get tired of the SB record being used to define Brady's greatness. Let's look at it this way, if you're going to base it on SB victories and playoff head-to-head whose resume would you rather have over the past decade - Peyton or Brady? And yet Brady unquestionably in my opinion has been a far better QB over the last 10 years than he was during their SB years. Anyway, sorry to get off my original topic by adding the bit about Wilson. Just pointing out that what Luck is doing at this early stage in his career is pretty remarkable. More Marino like than Brady or Manning given how early he's doing it (but oh yeah, Marino sucks because he didn't win a SB). |
