Peyton Manning's top 5 TD targets: • Marvin Harrison: 112 • Reggie Wayne: 67 • Dallas Clark: 44 • Marcus Pollard: 34 • Demaryius Thomas: 29 Also, I saw that back in the 90s when Dan Marino broke this record, the opposing quarterback that day was Jim Harbaugh. Now tonight he is the opposing head coach when Peyton breaks the record. |

Oh I remember Dan Marino breaking the records. He broke the 2 big ones against the Colts in 95 and we beat him both times. One was that amazing 2nd half comeback by Harbs and the other was a Colts blowout win and Marino beat the record with garbage time points. I remember them asking Marino about the records and he whined how in every game that he broke a record they lost and he's just trying to win games. All Colts fans should be happy about this. Notice that in all of the graphics where they show Favre he's in a Packers uniform? When Peyton retires they'll show him as a Colts in all his graphics. If anyone disagrees with that just look at Joe Montana, he went to an AFC Champ game with the Chiefs, but they always show him as a 49er, Kurt Warner went to a Super Bowl with the Cardinals, but they always show him as a Ram. |

I think I would remember all the Colts for sure but frankly I can not read the bottom two rows because they are too small and are blurry. I tried blowing them up but it was still blurry. I heard them say last night there was one player who caught a TD pass from both Favre and Manning. Then, my TV changed channels automatically to record something my daughter wanted to watch. By the time I got her program set up to record and back the game 45 seconds had gone by and I missed who they said it was. I tried looking up players online that I thought it possibly could be but I could not figure it out. Who was it? |

Well and you have to put Tamme half in Broncos half in Colts as most of his TDs were caught as a Colt. The bottom row is:Lance Ball, Jim Finn, Trevor Insley, Kenton Keith, Dan Klecko, Lawton?, Aaron Moorehead, Robero?, Gijon Robinson, Emmanuel Sanders, Tom Santi, Todd Uhrein, Lamont Warren. Lawton and Robero are the only ones on that graphic that I don't remember. I've seen every one of those TD passes but those 2 players aren't ringing any bells for me. Ok just looked up and I do remember Luke Lawton. One of the few times we used a FB when Peyton was here. Oh you know what? Its because its not Robero, its Roberg. Mike Roberg. TE for us in 2002. He caught a garbage time TD for us in a blowout loss to the Titans. Probably why I don't remember that one. Edited by JediColt, Oct 20 2014, 06:01 PM.

Thanks Logan. I too remember Luke Lawton and Mike Roberg. I remember Lawton more than I do Roberg, but do remember them both. So, is there a player who caught a TD from Manning and Favre? |

Rev, I went through every player to catch a TD pass from Peyton and couldn't find any player that even played with Peyton and Favre. |

Yes, but I almost hate to mention his name. Hank Baskett caught TDs from both Manning in Indy and Favre while in Minnesota. http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/early-lead/wp/2014/10/20/five-final-takeaways-as-peyton-manning-breaks-brett-favres-record/ Edited by Bent20, Oct 20 2014, 06:44 PM.

That's right - caught a pass, not a TD. |

The only reason I remember Baskett is because of that disaster in the super bowl. His one chance for glory and he blew it..... |

Wouldn't have been glory really. If he'd done his job right, they never would have attempted the onside kick at all. |
