Word is Reggie may miss one or two games with the elbow injury. It was one year ago today that he injured his knee against the Broncos. Prior to that, 11 seasons without missing a game.

He didn't look right for the rest of the game after it. Hope he gets well soon. Feel good about our depth behind him.

Yeah, I was kind of expecting to hear this. He never should have gone back into the game. I think the Colts wanted to keep his streak of games with at least 3 catches alive.

I am hoping they sit him for the next two games because given the bye week that will give him the better part of a month to heal & be ready for the home stretch of the season.

Agreed. When it happened I thought it looked bad and was very surprised to see him come back into the game.

I think he was on shortly after the play he hurt it on because he felt he could play and it wasn't that bad. The two drops indicate otherwise. I thought it was his wrist until he came back later in the game with a sleeve on his elbow. I think he was in late in the game to keep a streak alive and get to 14,000 yards in front of the home crowd.

He also insisted after the game that he was fine. Think he just doesn't want to sit this late in his career. Great opportunity for Moncrief to get the playing time some have been calling for. Think he's ready.

Nicks needs to step it up now, too. No receptions against the Bengals and five catches on 14 targets in the previous two games. He has 17 receptions in seven games and is averaging just 8.3 yards per catch. For comparison, Heyward-Bey had 18 receptions through seven games for us last year.

If Reggie wants to play I'd play him. If it comes down to his choice, I mean.

Who is this 'Nicks' person people keep talking about? I haven't seen him on the field.

Anyone remember the year that Marvin had the broken wrist, and wouldn't even let the trainers look at it?

This was before his knee injury, and he was still playing at a high level, but he played the whole season with this black wrist guard/ cast thing on, and the reporters and commentators would just say that Marvin wouldn't let anyone look at it and anytime anyone asked him about it he'd just say he was fine.

This thing with Reggie is reminding me of that a bit.

Yea... had a bad feeling about this. Landed bad on the arm and it just didn't look right when he did. Reggie is tough and he will play if he can.

Reggie has a radio show every Tuesday from 5:00 PM TO 6:00 PM Indy Time on WNDE 1260 with Query & Schultz. For out of towners, I believe it can be streamed or you can catch it on I-Heart Radio. He's typically very open with whatever he is asked. I'm sure there will be an update on his status.

Probably best that he is out until the NE game. Colts need to keep rolling but not at the expense of injuring a key player that will be needed at the end of the season.

Reggie himself said he will not allow himself to play if its going to hinder the offense more than help it. I believe it too. He is the ultimate team player.

Heard today that the MRI was negative... but nothing about his condition.

Everyone, including Reggie says day to day but nothing serious. He says he won't play if it would hurt the team and if he isn't out there on Sunday, it's something he couldn't work through.

actually the timing on this is good. We play Pitt this week and then Monday against the Giants then we have a bye.

The playoff implications of either of those is pretty low so if Reggie is going to miss time this is a good time. Also it gives Moncrief a chance to get some extra playing time. I would really like to see what he brings before we get to the thick of our schedule.
