That was pretty good stuff. Just goes to show you don't necessarily have to be tall, or even a great leaper (at least on that play) to be one of the best receivers in the NFL.

I was thinking about this play when some questioned his size in determining his #1 status.

For all those tall receivers we have mentioned over the years who we thought could have won a jump ball like that for us, TY is the only one whose done it.

That is the kind of play a Pro Bowl receiver makes. Barring injury TY is going to the Pro Bowl this year. Kinda weird seeing him and Reggie this year, its just like when Marvin lost a step and Reggie took over as the #1.

TY also had a nice block to ensure Wayne's TD...

Unless my eyes betrayed me. I ended up going to NFL.com to watch some highlights.

Pretty sure it was #13.

You guys are probably talking about two different blocks.

Probably. It was right before Wayne scored and he was streaking down the sideline with the camera following him. TY was still blocking his man toward the end zone.

I'll go back and rewatch. We're talknig about #13 and #83 so I may have just seen the 3 and thought it was Allen. Still, you'd think we could tell the difference in size from Allen and Hilton.

Allen downfield???
We just send him downfield to open the game or a half. He gets his 20+ yards each time and then he gets no more targets.
