http://fantasynews.cbssports.com/fantasyfootball/update/24818930/steelers-release-running-back-legarrette-blount Okay, we lost Bradshaw for probably the season, we CANNOT roll with T-Rich. i apologize to anyone who's sick of the conversation, but it has to come up until the problem is solved. it IS a problem. Richardson is a TERRIBLE running back. I heard this morning that Blount's time in PIT was coming to an end...and now it has. Blount is everything we WANTED Richardson to be. We need him in Indy. Who is with me? |

and with our line he'd run for about 1yrd/carry. Only he'd cop a 'tude and walk off. Rich isn't great but he isn't the problem. Edited by ck_in64, Nov 18 2014, 03:04 PM.

It's worth noting that Blount walked off the field early, which is what lead to his release. He was kicked off his college team for punching a fan. He's been arrested for possession in the last year. He's been on 4 teams in the last 5 years. And on and on. The guy definitely has some talent, but he comes with a whole heap of baggage. |

LOL, he ran for 4.1 in PIT. are you happy with Richardson's offensive output? I don't care what we gave up for him. That draft pick is LONG gone...but our season isn't. If we keep playing with T-Rich, we're going to get bounced in the playoffs early. We can't throw it 40 times a game successfully if nobody even cares to put men in the box to stop the non-existent run game. Blount is an asshole, Blount has the brain of a small child. But Blount has the body of a man who can run for 4 yards per carry. Richardson probably gets a boner every time he runs for more than 3 yards |

Ben Tate was also cut by the Browns. Much rather have him, if he clears waivers. |

A one-year fix is all i'm looking for. I am not saying to pony up the dollars. he clearly has character issues, and yes, he was released for bailing on his team. If he does that in Indy, kick him out all the same. But at least use the guy while we can. Draft someone to be our starter next year, i don't really care who (Yeldon please). But we need something TODAY! i don't want to keep waiting and waiting and say 'maybe next year'. we have a chance this year. our offense is as good as anyone's if we can run. Errsay, i didn't realize that. i would take him over Blount too Edited by ColtsFan, Nov 18 2014, 03:09 PM.

No RB's are going in the first round anymore. He'll go in the 2nd. I say we take Landon Collins in the first. Sorry to be such a Bama supporter, but those 2 guys are going to be really good! |

Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, Terrence Cody, Marcell Dareus, DJ Fluker, Dont'a Hightower, Mark Ingram, Kareem Jackson, Julio Jones, Dre Kirkpatrick, Cyrus Kouandjio, Eddie Lacy, Chance Warmack and others might disagree with you. Mosely even...there are tons that are doing fine. The Bama guys WE got aren't lol Edited by ColtsFan, Nov 18 2014, 03:31 PM.

And once again I don't care if you get into the WayBack machine and get Jim Brown in his prime. With the blocking this line is giving the RB it just wouldn't matter. When Rich has had holes he's produced. You may notice that Bradshaw who is actually a better back went for about nothing against NE. Until we fix the Oline, it just doesn't matter who the RB is. |

Cody is meh, Ingram is meh, Jackson is meh, Kirkpatrick is borderline bust. I love Mosely and salivate at the thought of him in the 'shoe. He's EXACTLY what we need on defense. Dix is another. You also have to remember that these players come from a championship pedigree and were taken high in the draft. Donald Brown did o.k. with the same disadvantages, but your point is well taken. Sorry, but you're wrong. Richardson ALWAYS runs towards contact. He avoids holes as if they are black holes. Look at all these links i'm posting below. each page has arrows showing how EASILY he could have had big gains, but every time, he runs right towards where the contact is. Blocking has nothing to do with it when the guy is avg'ing 3.1 his entire time with the Colts. Telling me Jim Brown can't find a hole? Come on guy http://blacksportsonline.com/home/2013/12/lets-play-pick-this-running-lane-starring-trent-richardson-photo/ http://www.draftbrowns.com/2013/06/browns-film-room-trent-richardson/ http://www.draftbrowns.com/2013/06/browns-film-room-trent-richardson/ http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2013/10/27/5034244/trent-richardson-trade-colts-offense |

lol what does that have to do with TJ Yeldon or Landon Collins? Go ahead and call them busts pre-draft. We can revisit our debate in a year's time and discuss progress. i NEVER said i want Richardson, even though he played in Bama. i have NO affiliation with any NCAA team, especially since i live in Canada. I do get quite a few Bama games so i know their players better. And i know those 2 are going to be good. You don't hear me hyping De Priest |

They're "good" because they play behind a good O-Line. I have no idea how successful they'll be in the Pro's. This ain't a debate. I could care less about Bama. |

Holes are available for the taking, but Richardson seems to hate them. We need a runner who attacks the holes. He isn't that guy. I said 1 name on offense and everyone jumped down my neck, saying Yeldon would be a 1st rounder and not worth it. i agree, if he's a first rounder, he's not worth it right now (even though we think Richardson is?). I did state that we should take Collins in the first, because we have a huge need at safety and he will be a star. i then said, sorry for the bama promotion. i don't give a shit what school they come from either. i'm not sure who 'they' are. i said 1 offensive and 1 defensive name. Bama's o-line is also much weaker this year Edited by ColtsFan, Nov 18 2014, 04:44 PM.

Take a deep breath. No one is jumping at you. Collins would be fine with me too, as the need is obvious. The need at RB may be there as well, but is down the priority list. I like Yeldon, but he'd cost too much. 1 or 2. I hate 'Bama because of Saban. Peace. |

Herron has looked good, albeit against backups. I'm curious to see what he can do. I could see Tate as a third option, one with vet experience, similar to Choice last year. |

Bent - you don't think Tate would be on top of the depth chart if we signed him? Might take a few weeks for him to learn some blocking and running schemes, but I still can't understand why they would put him behind T-Rich? Then again, I didn't understand Bradshaw being below him on the chart either. |

I think the guys we have would get the carries, at least initially. Of course he was complaining about being the number three back in Cleveland, so that's not necessarily encouraging. http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/11896908/cleveland-browns-waive-ben-tate |

I want Blount. Not only because he is exactly what i love in a RB, but he is an angry dude. The patriots game showed me this team really has doesnt have much attitude or aggression. Im really tired of that. Teams have been pushing us around for years. Blount obviously isnt going to change that all by himself but I absolutely love his attitude. |

The problem is you may like his on field attitude, But his clubhouse attitude matters as well, In my eyes it's pretty telling that the Steelers cut him, Look at their depth behind Bell, No one with any real NFL experience. They couldn't find a few plays to let Blount spell Bell, He quit on them, And they would rather roll with completely unproven backups who are 1 play away from carrying the load at running back for them. You look at pure talent, I see red flags going up everywhere. Did you notice not one team claimed him on waivers? The guy has a ton of baggage and it appears he is still far from maturing, I don't see it changing overnight. |

Aaaaaaand we got Nobody again! Not Tate nor Blount I'm getting really pissed off with the lack of effort from our front office. Funny how the Patriots are willing to take him back for 2 years, but the Colts who have nobody at RB, won't even inquire. now we get to watch our team slowly crumble and pretend to not know why. Jesus!!! Edited by ColtsFan, Nov 20 2014, 10:06 AM.

Jesus doesn't work in our front office. If He did, we'd complain about Him too. I'm not too disappointed in this. There's other people we can bring in. You might not like TRich (and I don't very much) but he's durable and serviceable as a rb. Herron is also a good rb. |
