Our special teams are , to me, the most improvement in our Colts this year. They seem to be the most consistent in their level of play.
First- Our FG kicker- "old Man Adam"- How can he do this at 41? He is getting better each year.
Second- A guy who is rapidly replacing Reggie as the "heart" of the Colts. He is the best.
Third- Cribbs has added "pop" to our returns. Hope he breaks one against the Browns.
Fourth- Our coverage of kicks by all our other special teamers.
Good job by our Colts putting together and coaching a good group.

Agreed. With the addition of Cribbs, I can't remember a special teams unit that I thought was better than what we have right now.

Yeah, i WISH Cribbs first game with us that his return TD wouldn't have been called back. He's so much fun to watch.

I agree with the entirety of your comments 'Toulin! They are a great group of players that are playing very hard

Am I correct to assume your second point is about McAfee?

But yes I am in agreement as well.

Two things have drastically helped our kick coverage.

1. The rule change that moved kickoffs back to the 35. When they were at the 30 and Vandy was kicking, we never got any in the endzone, so every single kickoff was returned.
2. Having McAfee able to boom them through the back of the endzone. Our coverage guys rarely have to cover any kicks because they're all touchbacks. I think McAfee leads the league in them. Also his punts have either great hangtime or great distance, so they're easier to cover.

McAfee and AV are having their best years as Colts. When we do have to cover, the guys we have aren't bad.

So is there a story behind why Cribbs was available this late in the season that I don't know about? He looks awesome, why was he unemployed?
