The Bengals might have to play us without AJ Green again. I like that we're facing the team that lost last night. Usually the Wild Cards we play are coming into the post season with some momentum.

Yup. Agreed, but I'm still not holding my breath. Not sure what is up with the O, but man. At least they finally scored in the 1st quarter AND got a 1st down in on the first drive (but no score). I think it was like 6 straight games where they didn't get a 1st down on the 1st drive? Wow.

They're saying Green won't play and Bell is out for the Steelers. That actually makes me feel pretty good about the Ravens and Colts winning this weekend which would send us to Denver next week. I love our odds there.

Peyton looks like he's primed for a one-and-done again.

Means Peyton is probably going to win another Super Bowl then. When he looks unbeatable, he's primed for his worst.

Looks like we might luck out and avoid our first round opponent's #1 threat for the second year in a row. Jamaal Charles missed most of the game last year and now AJ Green is doubtful. I don't think the Bengals can win without him.
Didn't realize Gresham is banged up as well.

Yeah he was nursing a bad back going into last weeks match-up and if I recall correctly he didn't finish the game.

Green is one of best in game
Gresham is questionable and us game time decision
Bengals will try to run it down our throats
Bengals have one of worse pass rush
I would think they will try to play us like they played against Broncos
But the game is in Indy

Looking forward to the game. And not to sound pessimistic, but well I suppose I am moving forward. Think the Colts beat the Bengals, particularly minus Green and probably Gresham. But don't like our chances moving forward. Will enjoy more Colts playoff games, but here's hoping Colts mgmt. does not fall into the same pattern as the previous - leaning on a superior qb to make up for an inferior and neglected OL, with subsequent overachieving regular seasons followed by playoff losses to teams with superior talent and more physical presence, and drafting 25th and later for ever while patching together our OL. Here's hoping we target a RT in the first round, and the best OL available in the second as well. We have lots of other holes (especially on defence, and Pagano will want to draft there), but I'd rather look at the D thru free agency and have it struggle a bit than neglect to protect Luck in the passing game and improve the runblocking. There are 3 RT prospects listed on a few sites as going anywhere from 10th (a fella some figure can move to LT) to early 2nd rd. And a couple of interior linemen late 1st - late 2nd. I'd prefer to draft there and hope for the best on D in rds three and on (pick all D later for all I care). We shall see...and here we go, in the playoffs again!

Everyone already counting this as a win makes me very, very nervous.

it's excitement. i predict a win 16 games out of 16 every regular season. i know it's not realistic...but pre-game excitement, how else should i feel? lol
My overconfidence should not have any effect on the actual game is what i'm saying.

I'm sure not counting it as a win. I honestly don't know which Colt team will show up week to week. I feel we should win, I'm just not confident we will win.

I don't consider this a W at all. The Colts of November and December were not that good and Dallas/New England proved that. Colts had some tough games against mediocre teams. About the only win that I thought was worth anything was the game against Houston. Let's hope they come to play and do not repeat what they did against KC last year and spot Cincy a big lead.

I'll be interested in how we start this game. We've had terrible starts in every single playoff game of the Pagano era.

I just hope we have a strong game plan and are able to execute it effectively.

I believe the key to victory will be the play of our offensive and defensive lines.

Luck needs to stay upright and have time to deliver the football. Our defensive line will be challenged because the Bengals will try to run the ball down our throats

1. Protect Luck
2. Stop the run
3. Don't turn the ball over

If we do this we win.
This could be wishful thinking, but we looked pumped up and the Bengals look like they lack energy.
3 of 4 pre game guys picked the Bengals, so that has to make you feel good.

Caught the last couple of minutes of the pre-game show on CBS, not surprisingly most of them are picking the Bengals (too much bias from that group) that's why I don't care what they have to say.

I was better off watching Eight Men Out for probably the 80th time.

I could care less what the pre-game people think. What matters is what happens on the field and how well prepared this team is. I have seen far too many games where this team acted like they had no idea what they were doing or making stupid mistakes early. Luck needs to take the sack when it comes and not turn the ball over. That is the bottom line in this game IMO.

I'm hoping we don't put Luck in a position to have to take a sack.

All the NFL Network guys picked the Colts, so that evens it out. Opinions don't matter. The Colts just need to execute. They are the better team
