Might as well start the game thread now since we're already talking about it.

The lines are pretty big for all the games. I think I'm going to have to take a little trip to the nearest betting parlor and lay a wager. The Panthers are getting 11 points!

i think CAR can definitely beat Seattle. Carolina's defense has been strong during their winning streak, only giving up 10ppg. i wouldn't be surprised by a 9-3 or 9-6 final. i would take CAR on the spread, and possibly on a moneyline if i'm looking for an upset.

My picks this week are as follows:
CAR beats SEA
NE beats BAL
GB beats DAL
IND beats DEN

Weather will be 40 degrees, slight chance rain, wind 4 miles a hour
So weather will not be a factor
Hopefully good game
Colts 31
Broncos 30

Go Colts !!!!!

I just honestly don't know what to expect in this game, I just hope the Offense starts fast, I don't want to see Luck having to dig us out of a big hole again.

This feels like a game where it will be hard to recover if we get off to one of our slow starts. We really need to be able to run the ball here.

Packers just caught a huge break. Bryant caught that. The NFL rules are stupid. And I'm pulling for the Packers, just hate to see a great catch ruled incomplete because of a dumb rule.
"Air show," really? He played well as usual, but Wilson only had to complete 15 of 22 passes. Imagine if Luck only had to throw the ball that many times for the Colts to win.

And of course we get the Peyton and Colts intro. Thanks for the remainder. We'd all completely forgotten.

I might have to turn off/down Nantz and Simms before the game even starts.

Hoping the Broncos are rusty. The two week bye has never done Peyton any favors, even when hurt.
We need points this first drive.

Great. Three and out, bad punt, couldn't be putting more pressure on our defense.

Would it be too much to hope for a 3 and out?

Not that it matters much in the first quarter, but shouldn't that cost the Broncos' a timeout?
Imagine if every time a team wanted to call a timeout at the line they had a player fake an injury.
Killer penalty.

The stupid decisions and penalties scare me more than anything. How many times have we stopped the O and the D does something stupid?

Once again, this team shoots itself in the foot with a back breaking penalty.

I was going to try to be good and not drink during today's game. So much for that.

Is it too much for the D to look back for the ball? And why is Landry covering him?

They need to take Landry out now. he's a liability in pass coverage and Peyton is targeting him. shake things up

I'm sure Pagano just patted Jones on the back and handed him a juice box as he returned to the sideline.
