This is why we got rid of him. Mr. Can't Get it Done in January Manning.

Broncos looked lifeless coming into the post season and that continued today, but our defense was absolutely awesome!!!

I would not say we got rid of him. I am still torn between him and the Colts but my loyalty is with the Colts (sorry Peyton but that is the way it is). I can never dislike Manning the way I dislike Brady.

I didn't think that the coach could challenge turnovers?
Its not a turnover, unless you want to call a punt a turnover.
But it's called a turnover on downs...
Names can often be misleading.

I'll say this. For the longest time, I thought sometime Peyton would face the Patriots in an AFC championship game with a QB not named Brady on the other side. Thought NE was just that good/"lucky" with Belicheat around. Never imagined we'd be the ones facing them with a different QB. That feels pretty damn good. We are a really good franchise, but sure, the QBs help. Our D got it done today though. Huge win!

Need this D to show up next week! Shut down NE running game and shorten the field. Put pressure on Tommy boy and we got a great chance. The Offense is playing pretty good, as the line has shored up pretty good. Got a chance boys and thats why they play the game!

Irony is when you use a word to mean something other than the literal meaning. This would just be coincidental.

Manning made football fun in Indy and it's now a football town because of him. He should have had more success in the playoffs, but teams beat him by controlling the clock and forcing him to press and make bad decisions.

What a great effort by the team today, From the get go the Colts were the more physical, Aggresive team. Unless Belicheat goes completely against the norm vs the Colts they will have to successfully run the ball next week.
Congrats Colts GREAT WIN TODAY!!

I do have on request for next week...please keep Dewey off the field; he's been a bad-luck charm lately.

Long live Peyton
peyton will be back next year

I hope we beat the hell out of Pats
I think we're officially seeing Peyton on the downside of his career though. Might have some great games left in him, but no more Super Bowl runs without a ton of help. I really didn't see the fire there today. Almost like he was resigned to defeat.

THIS!

Without Peyton, no new stadium. Probably no Colts. As much as Harbs was magical, Peyton got the Colts to two Super Bowls and brought home the ring in one of them. For that, I am grateful for what he has done for this franchise. Peyton will always be a Colt.

But now, it's Andrew's team. And hopefully, he can lead the Colts to the promised land as well.

Andrew is now 2-1 against the Broncos, but this win counted a lot!

The Peyton vs the Colts story is now dead though. That feels good. We've officially moved on with today's victory. Hope the next time we see Peyton it will be out of uniform at the Luke to be inducted into the ring of honor.

It was very obvious to me that Peyton is hurt. Broncos aren't admitting to it, but his play just completely nosedived midseason. He was about to break the consecutive TD passes record and then just fell off the map completely, went 3-4 games in a row without any TD passes, wildly inaccurate, can't throw deep to save his life, passes coming out like wobbly ducks.

Really I wasn't that worried all game about them winning because our defense looked good and Peyton didn't look like himself. This wasn't just some playoff curse or something, he wasn't the same guy.

With all that being said, Colts played awesome today. For all those pro bowlers the Broncos have on defense, we moved the ball pretty well against them. Ran it well, blocked their pass rush, completed passes against their shut down corners.

I think that Manning might be done...he could not throw the ball downfield tonight, it was pretty obvious. Whether he's hurt or whatever, The OC might be gone, they have 17 restricted or unrestricted FA's, and even Fox is shopping himself.

Denver took their shot with Manning, and it looks like their short reign of success may be over.

May be the time for Peyton to call it a day and come abck to Indy where he belongs. I never got used to him in those goofy Denver uniforms

Peyton threw it down field just fine on a number of plays, but our guys were right there. He had to be pinpoint, and no, he's not capable of that anymore and his receivers weren't capable of getting open enough. He looked like a defeated man though, like a guy finishing a game he wasn't really interested in playing.

I think he's done. His crowning moment will be returning to Indy for the ring of honor and being inducted into the hall. He'll be celebrated as the best QB of all time by many. Broncos should honor him, too, but their fans were booing him most of the night so screw them. Tried to buy a championship with all your free agent signings and in the end you were worse than you were a year ago.

You hit the nail on the head Bent... Peyton looked disinterested at the end, which is more telling than anything else. The Broncos fans are in complete disarray right now... many want Manning gone and even one knucklehead on their board said they just wasted 3 years that could have been used to develop Tebow. Someone else wants them to sign RG III and hire Kubiak as the head coach. I overreact after losses too, but this type of thinking is beyond irrational. I did find one comment quite humorous though... Papa John's just fired Manning as their post-season spokesman, because he can't deliver in the playoffs.

Not the opposite.

Not to me it doesn't. Peyton had to completely sell out and just chuck it has hard as he could on those throws. That's why they were overthrown. He couldn't step in and throw an accurate pass on those deep balls. He was inaccurate all night to a degree I've never seen. I think his arm strength is fading, possibly due to the nerve acting up.
