Might as well start the game thread now since we're already talking about it.

Some of those deep throws were where they needed to be because our defenders were stride for stride with the receiver. Peyton wasn't perfect, but we didn't beat him because he's past his prime, we beat him/them because our defense played great. Vontae Davis broke up pass after pass.

Look I'm not disputing that. I'm not saying we only won because Peyton played bad and we got lucky, we've got great corners. Vontae is just incredible and Toler is just slightly behind him. If anything his tackling was just as impressive as his coverage. Several times he came up and stopped the receivers on short dumpoff passes. Really outside of that 4th down play we tackled very well last night.

If anything, you have to hand it to our rush defense. They were great.

Excellent game throughout. The two picks were definitely getting greedy which Luck didn't do against the Bengals. He cannot get that way against the Pats though. But, I'm sure Belicheat will come up with some wild scheme that he hopes will confuse Andrew. We'll see how he does. He's 0-3 against the Pats, so it's time for him to rise and beat them. Please. My nephews and sister-in-law in Boston are talking crap (friendly crap) but man, to beat them at home would be sweeeeeeet!

Oh, and for those that say Pagano doesn't show emotion? Did you see him after the Colts allowed the Bronco's RB to break 3 tackles and get the 1st down on a 4th down? He was MAD! Took his head set off and threw it to the ground.

This team is playing well and I hope Manusky can come up with a scheme to confuse the heck out of Brady and still keep tight coverage against the receivers. It worked yesterday, but the Patriots are not your Momma's Broncos. They will have to play a complete game in all phases, but they have shown that they can do it. I say, beat up on the receivers like they did against the Broncos. Beat them at their own game in what the Pats have done so many times in the past. One shove is all it takes within the 5-yard cushion to hopefully disrupt the timing of the passes.

One more game. Let's go Colts!

Must employ similar tight press against their receivers. Pit Landry on Gronk. Must somehow find an effective ground game. 2 words for Cribbs: FAIR CATCH.

Pains me to say it, but I think that Peyton is just about done.

I loved that reaction by Pagano and it really seemed to charge the Colts up at that point.
Someone posted that we should be interested in LeBeau as a coach. Don't you think Manusky has done a great job for the Colts and getting them ready for "crunch" time?

What about Pag's dad, nervously chewing on his stogie since he's a Bronco's fan? Priceless...

Guess he kind of knows the feeling the Mannings had when watching Peyton and Eli's teams go against each other.
