Bruised shoulder, no structural damage
Could be back as soon as Thursday. Just too much pain for him to throw
What kind of game plan will Pep have
Mark Scherleth said this week our offense line is playing some of worse football he has ever seen. Who is the hard headed person that kept Lance Louis starting all preseason
Who is the hard head who kept Herramen at guard all preseason
Who left Mewhort at RT?

Well, if there is any game the Colts might have a chance to win without Luck, this may be it. If they lose this game, the season may become lost. They have to win all their divisional games if they hope to make the playoffs.......playoffs????.....playoffs??????? (sorry, I could not help myself).

The 2015 version of the Colts D is measurably better than in previous years...I think...so, I guess we can say for the first time, maybe since Tom Matte was forced into action..."We'll have to rely on the DEFENSE!" I see this a 50/50 proposition. If Hasselbeck is given a less aggressive passing strategy and Gore and Co. are used in the passing game we might have a good shot.

If the team knew Luck was probably not going to play this week, one would think they would have a game plan geared to Hasselbeck's strengths. Of course we are talking about the coaching staff that does not look like it had much of a game plan for the first three weeks. I hope they plan on running the ball A LOT. The Pats ran the ball well against the Jags. Maybe if the O-line practiced running a lot this week they might be pretty good at it.

Unless there is an improvement in the secondary, I am not sure that the Colts will be able to do much on defense. They had good moments the first few weeks but then awful moments that should never had happened. I have a lot more faith in the quality of the Jags offense than the quality of the Colts defense.

The question may not be can they win with Hasselback but can they win with Josh Johnson. Being 40 years old and I'm guessing not near as stout as Luck, how many hits can Hassleback take before he breaks...assuming the O-Line play and overall protection is equal to what we've been witnessing so far.

I think this game will be a good barometer for our coaching staff. Mediocre opponent, they knew all week this was a possibility, etc. How prepared will we be? How good will our game plans on offense and defense be?

I have no doubt a coach like belicheat would have his team ready. Will Pagano?

As crazy as this sounds, I'm glad he's out. Two reasons:

First, don't risk further, career-threatening injury.

Second, let's see what, if anything, we have. Are we just as bad as we were the final season of the Polian's tenure, which is what I suspect, or do we have enough to beat one of the worst teams in the NFL?

To me, the team is playing for Grigson's job today, or at least that's how it should be. He's built the exact same team, more or less, that the Polians got fired for right down to the over the hill backup QB.

Matt Hasselback throws for 325 yards and 4 TDs. Suddenly, there is a QB controversey in Indy..... :-b

You're right about the team, at least offensively, looking a lot like the team Polian had on the field his last year. The offensive line is horrendous.

It is beyond comprehesion how Grigson has allowed our offensive line get worse under his watch instead of better. It's even more frustrating considering that when he was hired he stated as one of his goals a desire to "Build the Monster" through dominate line play. I am completely done with Grigson. I just hope Irsay is as well.

Oh, he's built a monster all right. Frankenstein's monster. It's out of control and he can't fix it.

The silver lining to this point/situation is that the routes will be adjusted to shorten the time needed for pass pro. Also, Hasselbeck clearly does not have the same arm to throw deep routes as Luck. Bottom line: They will have shorter, quicker throws to protect the QB and maximize his strengths.

I have little confidence in this team without Luck. I hope they prove me wrong but I sort of expect the 2011 team to show up for this one.
Shocked.....3 and out on first series. Two incomplete passes. I guess I should be happy they are not INTs.
That is one way to move the ball down field.
Same old colts defense. Third and long and still allow a first down.

A first down and no penalty?
Jags are going to play the run all day.

And this was not done for Andrew why???? Is Pep trying to sabotage Luck?

Running game still isn't doing well though.
