Tomorrow is game day already.

It's sounding like Vontae might miss the game. It would've been really nice sticking him on Hopkins with how poor Houston's other receiving options are. Their #2 and #3 receivers are likely out Thursday.

And there is the Texans mistake we needed. We must get one first down now to seal this.

Foster got hovered up so no outlet. Allowed the pressure.

This is not going to burn up the clock. Need a play to get a first down.

Yep, need a first down. Game ain't over.
Gore has to be close to 100 yards.

I should have said....."GUTSY CALL....I LIKE THE RESULT!!!". Like Bent, I was not that big fan of making that kind of call.

And the Colts playoff chances are alive. I would be excited if they won one or two of the next five games.

Nice to have an experienced back up QB to man the ship for a short time. Hats off to Hasselbeck for getting through this one and played great in my opinion. Colts arguably have the top two QB's in the AFC South.

I'm really pleased with the offensive line play, especially with the play calling we saw tonight. As Venturi and so many others have been saying, manage that bad O-line by not running deep routes. Really hate all the zone coverage on D. That has to stop. Toler is back, play man, blitz more and live with the results.

Best game of the year so far for the offensive line. Gore looked great. Nice to see Johnson involved. You know he was fired up and wanted to show well tonight. Big win!

Great points. The zone defense was really pissing me off. Hopkins was so wide open at times. If we play that kind of defense against NE, its going to be ugly again.

But hey, we won and there were a lot of positives with this win, unlike last week.

On that last INT, I don't think that I'd like to have been on the receiving end of being hit by a bull-running #93. Man, what a hit.

Hoyer is going to be sore tomorrow.

I need help with an explanation. During a Texans drive in Colts territory towards the end of the game, a pass was completed to the right to Foster to make it 3rd down (and 4 to go I think) with 06:52 to go. The pass was completed and then the game proceeded normally, but the clock froze at 06:52 as if a TO had been called. it didn't start again until the Texans snapped the ball. Did anyone else see this?

Yes. I have no idea why the clock stopped. the tackle was made in bounds and there wasn't a penalty.

The play by Walden was great on his part. He was out in coverage, saw a wide open path to the QB and took it. Simms said Hoyer wasn't pressured, but he absolutely sensed Walden roaring at him, no other reason he rushes that throw to the middle of no where.
Speaking of Simms, I know I've complained over and over again about he and Nantz and I did again tonight. They're just both so awful. Simms has to correct Nantz every few plays, Carey has to correct Simms over and over, and no one ends up correcting Carey even though he's wrong just about every time he opens his mouth. Just brutal to listen to them.

Every time Mike Carey agrees with a call, I fully assume its the incorrect call. That dude is completely backwards most of the time.

Simms has figured out how to talk for 3 hours and never actually say anything of worth. He refuses to criticize anyone under any circumstance. The Texans had the ball at the end of the game trying to drive down and score and they got lined up with about 2:15 on the clock but wasted a ton of time and didn't get the play off before the 2 minute warning and Simms just goes "That's a good job taking your time and getting organized". I swear to god he had a secret lobotomy 3 years ago.

Which is pretty much a perfect metaphor for his NFL career. Not really do anything but somehow everyone thinks you're amazing.
Also, let's not get it twisted. The offensive line is not any better. They didn't magically morph into the Cowboys line of the 90s. The difference is the play calling. If they put Luck back in behind that line and have everyone run deep again, it's going to be back to the same damn story.

Yep! And it seems it took Luck getting hurt for Pep (or Grigson?) to make a change in playcalling. SMH
