Colts vs. Carolina

I think we all pretty much agree this will be a tough game. This is a game where we do actually have to stop the run if we are going to have a chance. Carolina runs the ball very well and more often than any team in the NFL. The "improved" Colts run defense is allowing 123 yds. per game on the ground (about 10 yards per game more than last year) and are coming off consecutive games in which the run defense played poorly. It will be interesting to see what Manusky comes up with.

It would be helpful if the Colts O could put up some points with a couple long/time consuming drives.

Surprised by their play call.
We couldn't have a better situation. Over two minutes left, at our 40.

The team has given up, Andrew has given up, and the coaching staff is simply going through the motions because they know they are gone. DO IT ALREADY!!!
I retract my Andrew has given up. My bad. I don't believe he has it in him. I mean have it in him to give up.

We don't have to completely abandon the run here...just need 3.

When Andrew plays poorly, you know it's not because he's not trying as hard as possible to win. I think that's why he makes so many mistakes, why he forces it too often. He tries to do too much. Has to learn how to be an NFL QB, not to do that all the time.

Say this for Luck, he has a knack for keeping it interesting.

If playing Whalen is what it takes to make Luck comfortable and get some guys open, play him!

Plenty of time too.
That was a bad decision...take what they give you.
I'd run it here.

Crazy. Luck still not perfect on his throws, but playing so much better in the fourth. It's like the guy has to face these long odds to play well.
Yikes.
And now a delay of game because our guys aren't ready.

Can we ask if we can forget the first 3 quarters, give the other team a 17 point lead and just play the 4th quarter?

Big FG, but I don't like being in this situation under the new OT rules where the other team is going to go for it every fourth down.

To be honest, only the second half of the fourth quarter has been entertaining. The rest of it was garbage.
Come on Colts, I'd like to go to bed soon. At least those who gave up will be well rested.
