Just wanted to put up a thread that will stay stickied to collect any talk from games around the league as they're on going.

Currently the Panthers vs. Packers has been quite a good game.

The Steelers are on here today, too.
Derrick Carr is legit.
Blaine Gabbart looking good in San Fran, too. I remember seeing him on a cover of ESPN the Magazine hailing him as the Next Big Thing back when he was a freshman backup at Missouri.

Derek Carr is definitely a legit QB.

Steelers got lucky again. Antonio Brown saved the day.
Dez Bryant just leaped over everyone for a third down toss up into the end zone like a hail mary. Unreal.

Well, as long as you both had fun, and were safe, that's what's important.

I know after last week's game and his show boating, people here aren't big fans of Cam (I'm not going back to his college days), but I'm with him on this. If some opposing fan dangles their banner in a player's face in their stadium, I'd expect them to do what Cam did. I'm surprised this is even a story and that they're coddling this obnoxious Packer fan.

The banner wasn't dangling in his face. Cam went out of his way to rip it down, and I am glad the fan is getting the police involved. You can't do shit like that, and this:

Quote:

We all know gangs, we all know territories, we all know businesses ... you're not about to sit up here and sell a Whopper at a McDonald's."

Is ridiculous.

I guess we disagree. To me, if you're a fan who is going to taunt the other team, engage them, then you shouldn't be surprised when they react. Not like he punched him, or was violent.

I like what Cam did. People are soft as hell.

After going through the Malice at the Palace, I am quite uncomfortable with any athlete/fan interaction in a negative way. What if that fan jumped off onto Cam and started whaling on him? Who is at fault at that point?

Probably the guy who jumps out of the stands to whale on someone?

Except he was provoked to anger by the actions of Newton.
I mean, legally, he probably would be, but I would rather put the onus on athletes to not interact negatively with fans. You are getting paid millions of dollars to play a game but you can't contain yourself to not tear down someone's sign? Grow up.

If anyone saw the end of that Lions/Packers game, that is exactly why the rule on XPs was changed. Holy moly.

He was benched. Sad to see PM have such an awful game. Meanwhile, the NYG are up 26-24. The problem is TB gets the ball with 1:47 left.
TB throws an INT and the defender drops it.
And Pats win on a FG. NYG just could not come up with the stop when they needed to do so.

Five completions to four interceptions. He should have retired last year, as I and many others said. It's really too bad and now all of the Peyton haters will rejoice. Got the yardage record, but wow is that a hollow achievement now. Really emphasizes just how pointless most records are.

Those records are the only reason he came back. He wasn't playing all that well down the stretch last season, either.

His career will end on a sad note. He will probably play in a post season game and throw all sorts of interceptions and lose to a wild card team.

Oh didn't you hear? Brady is going to play at a high level for 8-10 more years. He said so!
Latest on Peyton. I've had plantar fasciatus. It can be very painful. Can't speak to having a tear though, that sounds worse.

Poor Peyton. It pains me to see him play this way after watching him light it up every week as a Colts. It was painful to see him leave Indy but the Colts were better off with Luck. Now if the team can prevent Luck from an early retirement, that would be just great.

Brady threw a ball 50 yards yesterday and it looked like it took every ounce of strength he had. Brandon Lafell had to stop and wait for it and some how came up with it after the defender hit it trying to intercept it. Even the announcer commented on how Brady literally put everything he had into that throw. With that said, teams continue to play off the receivers. The giants had as much as 10-15 yards off receivers last night. The man cant throw deep! Why would you just give him everything he ALWAYS throws to when they only need a field goal? They continually let Amendola run around in the center of the field for 6-10 yard catches. They went right down the field.

Bottom line is, Bradys time is limited just like it was for Manning. That throw last night to Lafell looked just like one of Peytons high arcing ducks. I feel like if someone had the balls to crunch down on everything underneath, he will look old.

And I thought Pagano made some questionable decisions. It amazes me how many times Mike Tomlin makes real head scratchers and doesn't get called on it. Down 32-27 and they kick a FG with three minutes remaining and just two timeouts. On third and long, Seattle connects on a pass that goes for a TD. Game over. Just dumb, dumb, dumb coaching.
