About an hour out from the game and keep asking myself, "why am I excited about the game? You know most of it's likely to just be frustrating." Still, I'm kind of excited for a game for the first time this season.

Again, no blitz, all day to throw. Good coverage by Melvin actually, but no surprise.

Just kick the FG now, no need to put the gun to our heads and pull the trigger four times.

Give Osweiler credit? No, we did to them what so many teams have done to us, made it too easy.

I disagree. This is EXACTLY the team this GM and coach wanted (and deserve).

Well, at least we don't have to suffer under the misconception that the Colts are a first-place team even in the AFC South... as Bill Parcells would say, "you are what your record says you are"

Honestly, the best thing that can happen for the long term heath of this franchise is to lose games like this.

We are never gonna get where we want to go with Chuck Pagano as HC.

Its really a shame that our owner could not see this last January.

No excuses left. Fire Pagano tomorrow, Mr. Irsay.

There will be no accountability on this team until you do.

I really wish I could divorce this team so they don't waste any more of my damn time. I would have preferred a 30 point blow out loss to that absolute dog shit!

I've never hated a coach more than I hate Chuck Pagano. Don't care how likable he is, the man can't lead for shit. He's the general that walks you into an ambush then tells you everything will be OK while people are running around getting their heads shut off. The man must go!!!

No matter what happens the rest of year, Pagano has to go
Hold them for 57 minutes to 9 points
Then bam 14 points
Pagano will blame injuries
Or how hard we tried
Or our defense is good
Well then our coaching is bad

I can hear it now: "We are getting better. The OL did well and we had our first 100 yard rusher in over 3 years. I think just that is worth my extension." Chuck stupid.

Normally I'd be upset for a day or two after a loss like this, but like SR said, it's better for the franchise.

Wow, the end of that game looked like one of those high school games where the private school is going up against the nothing school. They scored so easily on us every time. Man this defense is BAAAAAAAD.

A quite despicable loss.

I have to admit, tonight has really worn me down & my interest level going forward is pretty low.

Stay up till midnight to watch this debacle.

For as much as people hate Grigson - and make no mistake, he needs to go, too - I'm absolutely convinced Pagano and his inability to develop players and manage a game have been by far our biggest problem over the last five years, never more so than now. We had that game won and he found a way to lose it. If one man has deserved all of the blame, it is our head coach.

Pagano can spew whatever BS excuses he wants.

He has pretty much lost any support he had in the local media and with Colt fans.

Hopefully Jim Irsay doesnt have his head

We have had two losses (thus game and Detroit) from downright defensive ineptness.

5 years into hus tenure and this is what we have?

Exactly, I came into this game kind of pumped and excited for a change, and we came out playing strong, which fed my enthusiasm, and then this. I really just want to fast forward to the off season now and I hate that feeling. I don't want to see Luck, V. Davis and others get hurt, but we just need to forfeit now because the way the NFL draft is structured, you're rewarded for doing so.

Since the Colts moved to Indy they have fielded some pretty bad defenses, this might be the worst of the bunch. The only reason that DQ isn't the worst ILB in football is because McNary is starting next to him.

Fleener, as he departed, talked about some guys not having the fire. I think that's true, if only because like us, they can see the writing on the wall. Think that's gonna happen again. Guys like Andrew will fight, but think this team will start to fold now. Here we come 6-10, maybe 7-9, if we're luck 4-12. That's what you brought these a-holes back for, Chuck???

And in fairness, our ILBs didn't even cost us this game really. It was our inability to rush the passer and the fact that at the end we only rushed four, straight up, no stunts, no twists or end routes. Brock had all day. Did we miss tackles? Oh absolutely, but we have a very young defense, especially the secondary, that shit can happen when you have no vet playmakers, and no edge rushers, and a coach who refuses to gamble at all. We put no pressure on them to make plays and then all of the pressure was on our guys.

Agree pass rush was non existent, but how many times did we see simple runs turn into 7,8,10 yard plays. They wear down defenses and put offenses into easy second and short. The run defense had as much to do with the loss as the pass defense. These guys can't do anything right on defense.
Just checked, their rbs averaged over 6 yards a carry for the game....ridiculous! This from a team that was struggling to run all year.

That TD where we have the guy for a huge loss and he keeps running backwards and we overpursue was just criminal. That guy isn't Barry Sanders but we sure made him look like he was.

What really bothers me about that play, besides the total ineptness of the defenders that were present, is the fact that while the RB was tiptoeing around, there should have been at least 8 Colts swarming toward the ball.

Instead, 3 or 4 pretended as if they were playing flag football while the rest were doing something else. That "something else" is what disturbs me the most.
