Like last year, this will decide if the Colts can make the playoffs. Win and they have a pretty good chance of finishing first. Lose and they are out. As much as I want the Colts to win, I am not sure if it is possible. The Houston defense is good enough to win the game for Houston. The Colt's defense continues to lack the ability to stop teams (except the Jets) when necessary and the Offense is just as inconsistent. Luck takes too many hits.

The key to the game, IMO, is to stop their run game. Force Osweiller to win the game for them. He is under a lot of pressure to win and the Colts defense might be able to force him into making a turnover or two.

Colts win 27-23 to keep playoff hopes alive. They will need to upset the Raiders or Vikings on the road and beat the Jags at home to get in.

Colts Inactives:
25 Patrick Robinson
26 Clayton Geathers
63 Austin Blythe
71 Denzelle Good
94 Zach Kerr
95 Lavar Edwards
98 Robert Mathis
Jonathan Joseph and Braxton Miller inactive for Texans
Jalen Strong is on IR
Texans have 3 WR
Texans might go heavy TE against us in pass plays

This is the typical Colts defense. Can't stop a nose bleed.
I take it back, Stopped them and now the offense gets the ball.
Luck with the big play.
OK....Big catch by TY. Good on review.
Needed 7. Settled for 3.

Colts get a sack!
Defense makes another stop. Offense needs to turn this into more points. 7 would be nice.

Well defense two drives only 1 first down allowed
Hopefully keep it up

Our offense needs to keep Luck upright and not hit
Damn damn

Go figure......
That was an awful throw or somebody ran the wrong route.
They are just going to run the ball at the Colts.
Houston not very bright. They could have run three straight plays and probably would have scored.
FG kicking contest

Gotta credit defense so far in this one. INT put them in a bad spot and held them to a FG.

Offense cant make sloppy turnovers like that basically gifting them great field position.

Like passing to the RB. Those are usually safe and can get yardage.
Unfortunately, the pass to the RB did not work on that third down.
Blue seems to be doing better than Miller at this point. Colts need to adjust.
Defense unable to make a stop on that series. Need to step it up. Bad sign.
Blue is killing the colts and making it too easy for Osweiller.
How stupid can Houston be? All they had to do was run the ball..... Dumb. Colts need to turn this into 7.
And Allen drops a pass......
Colts now shooting themselves in the foot!

They seemed to have abandoned it after the first drive. Not sure why. Gore is 4-18 yards.
Colts d needs to be read for Blue running..... He is the entire Houston offense right now.

Might be trying to get out to a lead passing, take pressure off the D with Jackson out.

Ain't working so far.

Ok....Miller is now running the ball well. Colts defense needs to be ready for these runs.

Luck always throws to Allen soft, is he scared he will drop?
We got to play the run better

Texans 14-63 running the ball. Do you see a trend?

Offense has had opportunities in the 1st half so far...

I would like to see more focus on running the football on these early downs or at least having the checkdowns to underneath throws available to keep the down and distance on schedule. Its clear with Texans pass rush and coverage that the chunk downfield throws are not going to be as open as last week. Coaching staff needs to realize this and stop wasting posessions.

The defense being constantly left on the field will only result in bad things..

This is not looking good. Houston is moving the ball and Colts are not.
All they have to do is run. This is not rocket science.
Unless something changes, this is the end of the Colts season. They can't stop anybody at this point.

Houston run game is just too much for weak Colts defense.
Meanwhile, Colts offense can't crack the Houston Defense.
It is up to Luck to turn this all around. There is no hope without him.

I hate seeing #57 in there
We lose this game it is over
I see quick throws by Texans
Can we do that?

The defense giving up points really should not surprise anyone.

They are not good and as the game goes on, it was only a matter of time..

Offense has had four posessions with only one good drive to show for it.

The deep routes and pushing the ball downfield that worked last week is not working this week. Its more important to control possesion and grind it out offensively.

No run, shotgun 1st down, 2nd down, 3rd down?...
Great efforts by Luck & Turbin
Guess the clock is a factor in play selection at this point also
