I don't suppose there is a way to check off a box that automatically emails you if there is a reply to a particular thread you might be participating in? It seems the original ColtPower site had that feature, and then when scout took over, it went away.

Yes and no. Yes there is such a feature, but it is a Premium feature. Premium costs $7.99 a month, or $79.99 a year (which is the cost of 10 months, with two months free). I would be all for putting a collection together for Premium and donating myself. Other boards I have been at have had a "Community Chest" type of thing where you can donate any amount using PayPal or a credit card. Then when the Premium membership came due, you used those funds for that. I'm still looking to see if this board has a similar feature.

I for one would be willing to make a contribution. If this takes off, there should be more than enough people contributing to where the price per year would be next to nothing.

What about an 'ignore' button?

Haven't needed it yet, and hope I don't, but... usually it comes into play eventually.

That is one feature I wish they did have. However, with the ability to moderate, hopefully it won't be as needed. Remember that the board is a moderated board, so the back and forth flame wars that we sometimes got into over on Scout won't happen. At least not outside the NFL General Forum.

I would donate to such a 'chest' for added features like DHC is suggesting. This is like a breath of fresh air! :)

I found an ignore button. Click on the username that takes you to their profile. Then hover over 'profile options' and a drop down menu opens up and there are several links to choose from, one being to ignore that user. Don't think it will be needed but you never know!

I talked to the people at ZB. Seems they do not have a community chest type feature, but you can make individual donations to them. You have to PayPal them the money, then give me the amount and transaction number, and then I cash the numbers in when we hit 80 bucks. Pretty much similar, but a longer way (for me, really) to go about it.

 Funky As I don't do PayPal, how 'bout I just send you a 10 spot? OR you could just run a tab for me !?! lol

Just curious - is there any way to limit the size (especially width) of pics in posts and/or sigs?

Are you trying to use a big pic as a sig and want to know how to resize, or are you askingfor limits?

If it's the latter, the limit is 300px high. The limit horizontally is the width of the page (not sure of thatexact number).

If it's the former, it's simple:

Just wondering if there were limits. A lot of the message boards I frequent end up with people posting pics that are so wide you end up having to scroll sideways to read the posts, or huge sig pics.

Not a problem here so far, just thinking of potential issues that may arise as the forum becomes more popular.

That is irritating because once the format has been widened, it stays that way for the entire page of the thread. Not a fan of that at all.

A couple other boards I post on have a "user control panel" where you can follow the specific threads you've commented on, keep track of your reps, send private msgs, etc....

It's just a nice way of keeping that sort of stuff organized

There is a whole site full of features that you can pin onto the board afterthefact. I am currently looking through those. Any features that you've seen on other boards that you like you can list here and I will look and see if I can implement them here. :)

As far as the pics, not to worry. Just use the report button and we will take care of it. :D

Moving this to the 12th man to make sure everyone sees it. We have been open a few weeks now; anyone think of any suggestions of things they'd like to see?
