It's sucks I'm at work and blocked from viewing your guys' songs. I don't even know who you have up there, Boiler. 45's I can copy and paste on google and figure it out, but still can't listen (YouTube blocked).

Wish there was a way to get around that stuff......

I think I posted on CP somewhere that I've been listening to George Harrison's "All Things Must Pass" album. That's been great. It's pretty much summer up here, though, so now it's time to listen to some more upbeat music.

Listened to "Empire of the Sun" on the way up to the casino last Saturday. A little "different", but it got me in a good mood to party. Listened to "The Kills" and "MGMT" a lot last summer. Plan on listening to them again here soon. Again, just music that puts me in the mood to go out and have a good time.

"Spoon" is always good, as well, and probably one of my favorite bands, period. I recommend "The Way We Get By" from them. Try copying and pasting this:

Finally, from another one of my favorite bands, Radiohead's "Codex". More relaxing, but still reminds me of going out during summer.

I have been a fan of The Band since the late '60's. Still haven't found another group that quite matches their style, sound. Wilco? My Morning Jacket?
Still listen to them alot, The Last Waltz is great if you have never seen it. Richard Manuel, Rick Danko are dead, Levon Helm has been sick but still does concerts at a small venue in upstate NY...Robbie Robertson still makes music, as does Garth Hudson.
Saw them with The Dead in August of '74 at Roosevelt Stadium, Jersey City, NJ. Tickets were $6...

I like all kinds of music. My favorite is classic rock, although bluegrass is a close second. My favorite all time band is Lynyrd Skynyrd. I have (at last count) over 40 gigs of music with over 8,100 songs. So, I have a little bit of everything.

Many favorites come to mind--Who, AC/DC, Stones, the Band, but when I want to relax and enjoy great music it's the Allman Brothers for me. I wore out several copies of "Fillmore" and "Eat a Peach" my eyes are getting bloodshot just thinking about those days......lol!

Go to a youtube video that you like, copy the page url (web address), then in your post, click on "Flash" and then paste that url. It will ask you if you want it 250 pixels high, (say yes), and 250 pixels wide, (say yes again), then enjoy!

Pyschedelia at it's finest by Captain Beyond off of their second album "Sufficiently Breathless." It was also the only noteworthy song on the album and this is the last time the original lineup played together.

Thanks Warhorse......

Another example of slide guitar master Duane Allman doing his thing, this should be the Colts theme song until next season....

I know it's April, but I think this is the best Christmas song ever recorded.

This was inspired by a different thread. This was the Judas Priest concert I took my dad to in 2009. We were on the floor, center stage, second row, but I found this video taken from the balcony.

Awesome time.

Walk Off The Earth.

The cover of Goyte by WOTE was excellent. Superbly understated, yet powerful. Thanks for that post !
