It isn't a pub without some beer talk. What are your favorite beverages? Also, I propose a toast to the new board!
My favorites are from up North. A friend from Guelph, Ontario introduced me to Sleeman and I love it. Sleeman Cream Ale is outstanding IMO. I am currently enjoying Affligem Blond, which is a pretty good Belgian beer. Well, not currently as it is 9 AM, but you know what I mean. LOL

Jay I love trying different beers, I have a couple friends who brew their own. I'm partial to Wheat beers. Like alot of foreign beers as well, matter of fact next week I will be back in Singapore having some of my favorite local beers, Tiger beer/Singha. They also have a few micro brewery's there that I will have to try. That and of course I will have to stop in Muddy Murphy's Irish Pub for a Guinness or two.

Living in Utah, I get to enjoy 3.2% alcohol beers. :X

It's a crime against humanity to serve reduced alcohol beers.

I don' t drink very often, but when I do, I prefer Dos Equis....

Sorry, couldn't help it. Seriously, I don't drink often, but when I do I like a beer that has body and is flavorful. I don't care for light beers unless they are very cold and it's a really hot day. Honey Brown, Killians and some Sam Adams brews are ones I usually buy

Nothing in my list is short of 6 - 6.5%.

3.2% would make me pack up and move.

I think Bell's Oberon just became available again yesterday. Gonna have to get some of that after work. Or during my lunch break. Depends on how badly I want to murder this computer by then.....

New Glarus, WI! We drive up north to get some every year. Outstanding beer.

My wife and I visited Western Michigan last year and hit some great breweries over there, too - New Holland and Founders, among others. Also have visited some great microbrews in Colorado (New Belgium, Avery). Never seems to be a shortage of good new microbrews to try.

We also started doing some of our own brews this winter. Very early in the process - got some of our stuff from Northernbrewer.

I myself prefer wheat beers like Erdinger or Weihenstephaner. I was down in Boston recently and loved the craft beers. Took a tour of Harpoon Brewery and loved some of the beers there.

I like to try a bunch of different beers. This past weekends the choices were a darker Erdinger, Innis & Gun Rum Cask and a Chimay trapist beer.

I also like to try the different craft brewers around. Around here I like Mill St, Beaus, Steamwhistle.

Oh and Cheers to the new board!

This is one of the strongest, good beers I've had.

WH, would love to hear about some more of the west coast beers you've encountered.
