Anxious to see what the Pacers do in the playoffs. The third seed is pretty sweet, but I thought all season they were the third best team in the East. Hopefully they can pull off some surprises in the post season.

On a side note, can't believe Ron Artest only got seven games for that elbow he threw the other night.

Stern doesn't want to suspend Artest and put the big market Lakers at a disadvantage, limiting the chances they make the finals.

Hope they get the Magic in the first round. I've watched enough NBA to believe the league would be in favor of the Knicks advancing out of round 1.

The Knicks are on every night on ESPN. Nothing like the thrill of watching a team struggle to hold onto the eighth seed.

Danny Granger, a star you are not!!!!! I've never seen a star player perform worse in a playoff game. EVER!

I have never really been a Granger fan.

I picked up tickets to Monday's game for $6 apiece on Stubhub. They had quite a few as cheap as $4 apiece. :-/

Granger seems really hit or miss. I love Hibbert though.

Definitely choked when the money was on the line. So frustrating to watch. This team has a tendency to run the same stuff over and over and over...guard dribbles away a good portion of the clock while the other 4 find a spot to stand and watch. Hibbert eventually moves to the top to set a pick, another player comes to fill the wing when the guard comes off the Hibbert pick. Guard then passes back to the guy who came up on the wing if he's open. If he's not open, he either dribbles the ball of his feet and out of bounds or throws up a prayer as he has already dribbled out most of the shot clock and there is no time to reset or go to another option. Exciting stuff.

Pacers up 3-1 now. Nice showing today, way to get after it after the game 1 disappointment.

They blew a 19 point lead in the 4th. They were lucky that Hill took over in overtime.

They CANNOT do these things against the Heat. If you're up 19 in the 4th, you need to step on the throat and kill them.

Agreed, but they pulled it out for a change. This is still a young team that is learning some valuable lessons.

Well dropping big leads is a lesson I had hoped they had learned that lesson after last season.

I love watching the ball movement the Pacers have. Lot of sharing.

However, when it gets down to crunch time a lot of that sharing seems to disappear and its one guy just dribbling until theres about 6 seconds left on the clock.

You could tell today that once they went up by 15 or whatever it was, they took their foot off the gas and allowed a couple of easy dunks and layups to let the Magic back in it. Pretty stupid, but theyre young. Theyll learn.

Maddening isn't it? I was prepared to not watch the 2nd O.T. if it came to that. They defended the Orlando in bound perfectly on the last possession.

The Pacers win a playoff series for the first time in I don't know how long, since before the brawl I'm guessing.

2005. Upset Boston in the first round in 7, lost to Detroit in 6.

Pacers can definitely beat Miami. It's going to be the starters jobs to hold tight to Miami's starters, and the 2nd team's job to really put it to the Miami bench.

You're seeing why we loved Hill when he was here in San Antonio. He's a great all around player and he seems to get better in big situations. I was really upset when they traded him, even though it seems to have made Parker raise the level of his game.

Also saw that the Pacers hadn't closed out a series on their home court since 2000.
Almost teared up watching Miami/NYsucks and hearing this from Reggie Miller: "A lot of people have not seen the Indiana Pacers play. They are FOR REAL." Felt good to hear Reggie say that. Maybe it's projecting on my part, but I want to think there is a little pride in that for him, to see the franchise restored to respectability. And he's right, while the media coverage has predictably been about the coastal teams, the Pacers have been ignored. The Knicks have had as much coverage as anyone and they're a joke.

This past week I have heard some talk about the Pacers. As if the media finally got around to watching them.

Anyone else feel like this is a series the Pacers should win, IF the officials and the NBA allow it? Sometimes NBA games feel about as rigged as WWE match.

Heat are driving every possession now. They either score or go to the line to score.

Love how Dwayne Wade kicks West and West gets called for the foul.

NBA is out of control with the fouls. Seems all you have to do to win is to throw yourself into the lane and throw the ball at the rim out of control. Youre either going to score or youre going to go to the line. Or both.

And if you don't have a superstar, never mind three, you aren't going to get the majority of the calls. That said, the foul where they gave it to George instead of Hibbert to save Hibbert from his sixth was obviously on Hibbert.

lol heat players just running into whoever is in front of them. Whether they have possession or not.

Hibbert got away from one, but eh...

This game is ending exactly as I expected it would, which is why I never get into the NBA that much, very much feels like everything is easy to predict.
