You know you put "Blowout win" twice and no "Blowout loss", right?

I'm going with close loss. And I don't mind if we do lose these.......can anyone remember the last time we won a pre-season game ??

It's a new era, and we're in "re-tool / re-format / re-build" mode. St. Louis is much improved all over defensively, and their offense is much better on the ground. Their passing attack should be improved and Sam Bradford more accurate and confident.

Our defense? Who knows....that will be the test for us early in the year. Can the defense hold opponents, while Andrew and the offense get time to gel. Can the D front stop the run, and will our secondary be able to keep anyone from scoring at will downfield. I hope the answer is "yes" more often than not.

Speaking of the O, it's going to be all about the offensive line.

Luck is basically ready to roll right now, and he has two exceptionally talented young TE's to use as safety blankets in the passing game, along with a decent corps of vet receivers. The running game is another big question mark, but not as big (or critically important) as those surrounding the O-line.

Will this also be the open game day thread for today?

It should be the main thread for the game, yes.
HERE WE GO !!!! GO BLUE !!!!
A bit of what I was fearful for of on defense thus far. No stopping the run, no one able to cover the pass. Rams just chugging downfield. Still early.
D got them off the field on the first series, so that's good. Here comes LUCK !

Telling myself the same thing...it's early and the fron 3 I don't think will be the #1 unit when the season starts. New scheme and all, what I would be happy with is steady progress throughout the pre-season.

So much for not comparing Peyton and Luck :thewave:
When I've been at camp, I saw success to left side of line. That play was to left side. Beautifully blocked.

Was Peyton's first pass a 2 yard screen pass that went for a TD?

Yeah, but Conner made it possible.

Absolutely. It's just nice to see a CB stop a run at 1 or 2 yard gain instead of 8 yards down the field.
